Our experience with the Hotel Korona staff in July 2019 was fantastic -- very different from what I saw in a few previous reviews. The staff was helpful and responsive from the moment we checked in and were extremely gracious when our change of plans resulted in a last-minute cancellation. They could not have been more accommodating. The hotel is certainly not high-end but it is well-located and offers a good breakfast, with the option to enjoy it on a nice patio.

Stayed here for 2 weeks room on par with other hotels have stayed in, breakfast basic Bulgarian continental, room clean and tidy but basic, beds comfy but very low, bedding changed once a week, towels changed every 3 days, staff friendly,new sun loungers pool area tidy.only one lift works. Manageress very helpful. Will stay here again

After reading all the bad reviews on this hotel I was a little anxious to the point I tried to change my holiday , I’ve just got back From a weeks stay and enjoyed it very much,  it’s a basic hotel ,the room clean and spacious and a bit rough around the edges ! Pool area has new sun beds and we did use the pool ,same again rough around the edges, needs a good clean around the seating area but the pool itself was cleaned everyday ,the pool bar is definitely shut down and is a bit of an eye sore , I wouldn’t recommend this pool area for small children as tiles uneven  and standards not great , in all I’d say the hotel needs some tlc , the location was great for us down the quiet end and close to the beach .breakfast wasn’t to our liking , all members of staff were friendly enough , my personal view on this hotel is You get what you pay for I was happy with what I got for the fair price I paid

We booked this hotel.but we checked the reviews on tripadviser when we got Home.most of the people said exactly what it was like.food if you like eggs hard boiled.fryed or scrambled every morning.plus chicken & fry's every night.but it's very cheap to eat out.it's a shame that they have let it get to a run down state.

I stupidly checked reviews AFTER booking but decided it couldn't be that bad.
it is!!! Room standard is below hostel.beds are basically a mattress on the floor,sheets not even covering the stained mattress and 1 lumpy pillow each.
Breakfast was a joke,I got sour feta cheese and my partner sour butter.needless to say we didn't go for breakfast again.
We don't mind basic but this is well below even basic standards.
Sunny beach as a place is fab,mega cheap and lovely restaurant's to eat out.
nessebar is a must visit,it's stunning,look for Michaels eco cocktail bar-its a cave bar with waterfalls and turtles,fab.
