Infrastructure could still do with some improvement. I noticed over my 5 nights here that there was ongoing maintenance work and sprucing up of the paintwork. There is no lift to the upper-most floor so this may pose a 'discourager' for people who prefer not to walk up the 3 flights of stairs. If however you don't mind the stairs, you will be treated to a fantastic view of the sea in all its shades of green and blue. Breakfast was decent and on Friday and Saturday there was a tapioca grill in full swing taking your order of flavour on the spot. There is actually a lunch and dinner menu available right at the hotel if you prefer an in-house meal or given the close location to the historic centre head out onto the streets for a taste of good Olinda cuisine.. Staff overall was very friendly and helpful. I was particularly impressed by one of the waiters/ barmen - Freddy. He was extremely courteous and very professional in mixing a few caipirinhas and taking our orders and always with a smile.
