The cottage is very comfortable and complete with kitchen, comfortable bed, cable TV, hot tub and very quiet. The breakfast is simple but filling and tasty. Ideal for that you want to be close to nature, many birds and native forest of Serra da Bocaina. Very nice place for couples to spend romantic moments.

Very confortable within beautiful landscape

Two couples traveling together stayed for 2 nights in one of the Chalé Master Ofurô Hidro   buildings. You will not have all creature comforts of a hotel but they do not claim to be one. It is a Chales. It had two rooms and a bathroom. Basic bed accommodations. The queen bed was in the main room;  two singles were in the bedroom, which the other couple pushed together. It had a full kitchen although we did not use it. Unit had a hot tub in the room. Not much heating in unit in June - we bought firewood from the property staff to heat the next day. Use of the bathroom required shifts since hot water was limited.

Breakfasts were very good and enough to get your day started.

Good friendly service from staff.

Great views from the nearby veranda area over the valley but we could not see the ocean.

Location was difficult to find. Map location on TripAdvisor is not accurate. Use exact address and km markers (if any). We stopped several times asking people for directions. The driveway into the facility is extrermely steep but unit parking was level.

The property is actually in the Serra da Bocaina National Park - Not really in Paraty -the site is a 25 to 30 minute drive to Paraty center.

Very Good from a budget perspective.
