We stayed here for three nights and were sad to leave. The location was directly at the beach… just walk outside the room and you had lovely sand and sea water. Our large room was very well appointed, with a really nice outdoor bathroom and a very comfortable large bed on  the 1st floor (the other rooms are smaller). The aircon was super efficient. The staff were caring and always at hand when we needed something. The owner speaks  English, the menu selection and the food was always delicious. There are other beaches around to see too, everything is close by. Come here if you want a slice of paradise, relax and a genuine Brazilian experience if you are a foreign tourist like myself.

Lovely Pousada directly at the beach!

Extremely comfortable and well decorated!  Impeccable service.  Delicious food.  Outstanding location!  Lou, Fernanda & Jota couldn’t have been nicer!  Lovely swimming pool.  Literally right in front of the ocean.  Great little veranda.  We will be back!

Super Fantastic!

+ Only SIX rooms, recently REMODELED, and All with a SEA VIEW
+ Guests are long time returnees so it feels like home
+ the staff is like a FAMILY and they make you feel like so as well
+ Good and locally renowed restaurant, great breakfast

- Dinner is only served till 8PM, a bit too early, need to rethink this
- did not think the snorkel pools there and  nearby where that rich in fish

COZY. FRIENDLY  YOUR HOME ON THE BEACH.

The location is excellent, the food (particularly seafood) is fantastic, and with only 6 rooms on the beach you can´t ask for anymore.
It is worth waking up and watching sun rise on the sea. Beautiful!!

All you need to recharge batteries

We had a brilliant 4 nights at Pousada Estalagem Caiuia. Fernanda the owner and the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Our room was immaculate and with double doors that open straight onto the sea it felt like paradise. The food each night was some of the best we have had in Brazil with a good choice of fresh seafood. Everyday Fernanda talked to us about some of the activities and sights we could visit and she had great knowledge of the area and recommended some great restaurants too. This place is fantastic if you want a quiet, peaceful time on one of the most areas of Brazil.

Fantastic Pousada, a home from home

There is nothing better to wake up a few steps from the ocean! Pousada Caiua is small "boutique hotel"  located by the water. Our room "Rustico" just a few steps from the beack was very comfortable and accommodated the 4 of us (Family with 2 teenage boys), we had a small terrace overlooking the ocean, the beds very comfortable and the washroom had everything we needed for our stay.
Fernanda our host was amazing, always there for anything we need and more, from ensuring that we had everything to help us booking snorkelling trip
The food was also amazing, breakfast buffet style included local dishes (i.e pao de queijo) fruits, juices, tapiocas to traditional american eggs, bread and coffee. 
Dinner was even better, the quality of the food was great, very tasty and there was everything for all taste even for picky eaters from lobster, fish, meat to pasta. I found interesting that each plate was for 2 and they were big and in many cases we couldn't finish. Caipirinhas were fantastic

Pousada Caiuia is located south of Maragogi, in a remote place. There is not much around but nature, so is better to stay in and eat in (not worth going out). Is a quite place to rest, get away from the city and enjoy the ocean. 
There is free WIFI but with limitations and the TV has only a few channels

In summary I will recommend this Pousada because of the service, the location, the food and if you are looking to disconnect from big crazy cities. Perfect place to rest! 

In our case we were 3 families (with teens) that had an amazing time and again BIG THANKS to Fernanda and the entire staff for making our stay truly enjoyable

Fantastic... Loved Everything about Caiuia, Location, Service, Room!

The bedroom is so close to the beach, just across a deck in front of your bed! Very cozy and clean. The meals are great, excellent seafood. The staff is very courteous and professional. The owners of this Pousada are always around, very kind and attentive to provide you with all the best. Thank you Fernanda for the great time!
