Villa dos Corais Pousada

Top-notch place to stay in Morro. This pousada is located in-between the 3rd and 4th beaches in an amazing setting, but has very frequent shuttles to the village. Walking alongside the beach is also very pleasant and short distance and possible even in high tide without worrying about wetting your shoes. However, for people with limited mobility (elderly or kid trolleys, etc) I'd advise sticking to the shuttle given some stairs and ramps along the path. Now on to the pousada facilities themselves: The rooms are wide and clean, always pleasantly fragrant. Beds are comfy and air-conditioning works very well. We did use the TV for national channels and it worked very well. The bathroom is very spacious with separate doors for a toilet and a shower, and a sink within an area in between them. Hotel staff is very friendly and accessible at all times. The breakfast is amazing! We've stayed 5 nights and every day they have a fixed hot selection made to order and a buffet that changes most dishes daily. Excellent fruit and juices, also rotated daily upon availability. The pousada also has a beach/pool bar that serves drinks and restaurant snacks, available all day. Also a restaurant that was highly spoken and recommended by other guests, but unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to try. We've had an almost perfect stay. Beach towels are available for enjoying the beautiful and relaxing pool after a day out. Or enjoying some cards or table tennis at the poolside game room. The only downside is that filtered/drinking water is only available at the facilities away from the room or bottled to be bought at the reception. I recommend buying bottles at the village and storing those in the room fridge at a much better/fairer price. Vila dos Corais was an excellent experience and I'd love to stay there again should I visit Morro again someday.
