Waterside Cottages

There is something surreal in the peace and tranquility that Waterside Cottages & Villas offers to any visitor who might be looking for overnight options in the grater Gaborone area. Located a mere 13 km from the business buzz of the city, this haven by far beats any of the known and established Gaborone hotels or accommodation options. Attention to detail and a love for what they offer is cornerstone to the Waterside Cottages and Villas stay. The accommodation units are all located a respectful distance from each other and privacy is a beautiful reward for any guests. Our stay was in the Kingfisher Villa which although does not have direct access to the dam in the font of the property, is set back in a beautiful bush setting with a spacious verandah, built in fireplace to barbecue and has an amazing ensuite plunge pool for private use. The Villa was spotless, beautifully appointed with all the appliances and facilities required. Air conditioned for hot days was an added bonus. Fresh linen, crisp bath towels, bathroom amenities and a very spacious double rain-shower which opens up with double doors onto the patio and swimming pool area. Kingfisher Villa has possibly the most comfortable bd I have slept in in Botswana - an I have slept in many! The Villa is spotless and consideration for the smaller things, like a refreshing air diffuser adds to the ambience of this wonderful space. The villa is serviced daily, cleaned thoroughly and stocked with wonderful breakfast goodies for the following morning. Birdlife and bush sounds offer wonderful relaxation to this haven.
