It is located in a nice and quiet region that is very suitable for hiking and biking tourism: agrarian, mixed with woody, and with various watercourses. Situated in a typical former farmhouse on the banks of the ‘Grand Nethe’ river, it is very well integrated into this landscape. Its furnishings refer with much dedication to its history; even the names of the accommodations and several other items in the B&B refer to the famous regional Flemish author Felix Timmermans. At the same time, the accommodations offer all modern facilities such as a comfortable bed, fridge, TV, Wi-Fi, thermostatic radiators, etc; and they are very clean. The B&B has, in addition, its own sewage treatment facility. There is ample parking space. The breakfast is great. And there is a spacious garden that offers opportunities for outdoor breakfast in the summertime. Very correct and helpful owners, and charming hostess. We spent our weekend at Hullebrug during a partial lockdown (because of the Covid 19 pandemic) and the owners did their utmost to help us with getting ‘take away’ food from closed restaurants in the area and allowed us to have our diner in the very nice Hullebrug guest room. What else can one dream of?
