actually i stayed in vienna star apartments-puchsbaumgasse- when saw the property from outside  it was not clean and the entrance was little shabby. but when you enter the apartment it is really great. clean and spacious. it has all amenites and very good for the family. the place is little far away from the city centre and opera hall. but you could walk down and catch a metro which is some 3 stations away from the city centre. would certainly recommend for the family.

Was hard to get hold of the manager to get the keys for the room and the lobby oof the apartments looked like something extremly scary and out of a horror movie however once we went into our apartment we were extremely surprised it was very nice and modern and clean.

Great Location and Price

This review is about the property in Köllergasse 1, the apartment for 4 people. The apartment is big enough for four, with a double bed in the living room, which is better than a sofa bed. The bathroom was new, but there was no ventilation. The kitchen had a lingering smell of food, and the cooktop could have been cleaner. The overall appearance of the apartment was OK, but there were some details that annoyed me, such as splatters of paint on the floor. The location was great! Two blocks from a metro station and within a 10 minute walk from Schönnbrunn. The street was quiet, and we were able to park our car in front of the apartment building. Key handover went smoothly, and the wi-fi worked fine.

Review for Köllergasse 1

I was in those appartments last summer, and I choose Wien as my last desination of an incredible Interrail I did. I used train for all my trip, so I depended on the timetables and arrived in Wien at 7.00pm in the afternoon (it seemed to be really late for being Wien). We had to call lots of times so as to get our keys. The welcome was not was I expected, really cold and as they were doing me a favour. I paid a big amount of money for two nights (and then you have to pay an additional fee for cleaning), and I hoped it to be better.
Anyway, it was a good apparment but maybe too far from the metro station and the city centre. Everything around the hotel was closed at 8pm, so to find an open restaurant was really hard.

Great appartment but service could be a hundred times better!

The big problem is that there is no wifi - or almost none. Only one device can use a vett weak wifi connection at the same time. Since this apartment can be used for up to 5-6 people this is crazy. According to the information there is free wifi - which is not the truth. It is like travelling back to 1999. We were not able to use our mobiles or IPads during our visit.
The apartment is also situated far from the city center in a bit ”shady” areas where you should be very careful during nighttime. Otherwise it is fairly OK.

Never again, it was dirty, over- used, disgusting . It was nothing like they sad about the apartment.  I called Holiday Apartment Vienna several times to tell them that I can not stay with my little child in those conditions and asked them to help me, they didn't call me, they left me without replacement, they didn't care at all. Never again with Holiday Apartment Vienna, they don't care about their clients, they left us on the street and off course with no refund.
