Weinbachbauer - Urlaub am Bauernhof

We had a wonderfull time, 13 three generation family members ages 3-74. Used it to tour the mountains, lakes and green medows in a 100 km circle. driving around in hired cars as well as mountain rails and long hikings up and down. The farm provides breakfast for those residing in guest rooms. A BBQ facility as well as a small hut with modern kitchen and sitting around the table for 15 persons. Apples and plums as well as pear to be plucked and eaten. Nearby villages have superrakets, butchries and bakeries. Salzburg is less then 50 km from the farm on routes which take you through forests and lakes but if you're in a hurry a 6 lane highway will bring you there quickly or will take 2.5 hours to Munich. The owner 3 generations live there & are very friendly and will advise you on where to find suitable attractions for all ages. The grandmaster is an avid hunter and keeps wild deer trophie horns everywhere as well as stuffed small animals around the public facilities (vegies be warned). The only thing I took offense to was his habbit to drive on the front lawn and cobblestone infront of the entrance with his 4X4 motorcycle when children were around.s
