Very nice and cozy place to stay in Sölden. Close to the ski lifts and to all the shops and restaurants. The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, we had nice breakfast and the overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Definitely to be recommended, especially if you want to be close to the very center of Sölden.

The hostess mrs Falkner is absolutely wonderful- she makes one feel welcome, she is friendly and wants to help when requested. she arranged multiple day skipasses for us to pick up in the morning.

If you ask for advise before the trip over email you get a prompt response with brilliant advice

The rooms are small, but very tidy.Everything you need during a small break is available. Rooms are cleaned everyday

Free parking on the backside of the pension. Storage for skiequipment down in the basement- very handy.no need to carry skiboots etc to you room.

The Freizeit Arena spa passes were included in our accommodation. Worth visiting after a long day in the slopes.

I would definitely recommend this place.location is perfect - walking distance to everything.

Garbershof is well located in Sölden, few meters from the bus station, pares-ski bar, supermarket, shops & restaurants. Also you can consider it as "ski-in" as one can ski until 30 meters from the pension. Big beds, spicy room with closet, WC and Dusch, clean, quality breakfast and helpful owners.

The Garbershof pension is located next to a slope all the way down to Solden, so you are able to ski all the way down. To get to one of the lifts to the top you do have to take a bus which stops almost in front of the pension (+/- 20 meter) or take a walk of approximately 10 minutes. 

There is a nice bar (Marco's) next to the pension where you can enjoy your apres ski. Although the bar (The Kuckuck bar) next to the other slope to the village seems to be more popular and busier.

The pension has a few rooms and 2 apartments. We stayed in the biggest 4/5 persons apartment. The beds were good, the showers are somewhat strangely located, but did the job. You can sit and relax in the kitchen and the "television" room. The apartment was clean and has everything you need. 

The owner is friendly and the breakfast was ok but very simple. There is free parking space for the guests behind the building and there is a ski room underneath the pension.

- some strange quirks about the showers (hard to stand up showering when larger then 1,95m and one of the bathrooms lacks a real curtain in front of the window)

Surely would reconsider going here when visiting Solden again.
