It is the second time this year we are staying at this pension. First time we were here in last September (we wrote a review). Now we returned on the last week of May for 4 nights. It was so good that we decided to entend it to 7 nights.  
We do not have words to express how we enjoyed the vacation here. For us it is really the ultimate vacation place. The room, the views, the location, the dinners and breakfasts we had there. Above all we enjoyed the great hospitality of Helene and Helmut. Helene is very knowledgeable about the area and   hiking opportunites. She gave  us  lots of advise about what to do and see. We highlly recommended to take also dinner there. We will come back to this wonderful place. Chaim and Nizan, Modiin, Israel.

Second time in this pension and it was  super exellent again

We had a fantastic stay here for 2 nights in mid of September but intend to return soon next year. We had a wonderful time here. Helene the host  is very welcoming and friendly and her hospitality is great. The location is great in the countryside  with great views to the mountains and valley. Many hiking opportunities  in the near Hohe Tauern national park and the Kitzbuhel region. The room was very comfortable, well equipped and well decorated with great views to the outside. Just perfect. We had dinner there which was very tasty and also breakfast is very good. The restaurant itself has great views to the mountains. We will return soon. Chaim and Nizan, Modiin, Israel.

Super excellent stay

This was an excellent stay in a smaller 7 room pension with good local (and often home grown) food. With a nice view from the hotel, clean traditional looking rooms and with a very friendly hostess.
I certainly recommend this for everyone that is looking for a quit and well organised stay.

And from here you have access to many of the diverse regions of the National park "Hohe Tauern", and a home away from home to com back to at the end of the day.

Friendly, good food and beautifull nature

Good location (e.g. for hiking)! Good food (advisable to order dinner there)! Clean rooms! And great hospitality! The other reviewers did not exaggerate. 

If we ever go back to this area, we will definitely visit Pension Mitteregg again. No need to look any further.

Excellent!

Although we only stayed one night we certainly intend to return. The friendliness of the owner and fellow guests, the peacefulness and beauty of the surroundings, the cleanliness and comfort of the room with its own balcony, together with tasty, well cooked food should not disappoint anyone.
