We spent 2 nights, its a beautiful spot, loved hearing the Whipbirds. The BBQ was great to cook on and the spa was good to relax in.

Unfortunately I wondered why the mattress felt like the springs were digging in my back, The 2nd morning I discovered it's a pillow top mattress but the top you're meant to sleep on was on the slats so it was upside down, I wish I discovered the first night, but the pillows were super comfy. 

The idea of the fire was great, but unfortunately there was no kindle and no tomahawk to chop the blocks smaller and being late at night, I didn't want to disturb the hosts.

Having those issues didn't happen it would of been a perfect comfortable getaway. 

But thank you for the opportunity to stay. I did send an email.

Nice spot, not comfortable though

The cottages are all spread out over the 6 acres with natural bushland, lush green lawns and natural ponds and creek. The cottages are all very nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need. A fabulous place to relax and unwind tucked away in a quiet location yet close to Maleny - DELIGHTFUL!

Absolutely Beautiful

We stayed at the Chalet and it was lovely - pretty gardens, clean inside, well located (about 10 minutes drive away from the center of Maleny). However, I felt harassed by the management. They advertise that pets are allowed but when I asked permission to bring our cat they said no because of the wildlife (I had said we would keep it indoors). They then (without warning) tried to get the balance of our payment about three weeks ahead of time and when the payment failed they emailed AND rang me straight away asking me to get in touch as if I had done something wrong - I immediately transferred the money. Then on the day they rang me twice to check when we were going to arrive to collect the key (it was 3pm and key collection was open until 5pm). And on the day of departure, the cleaners drove up at 9am (checkout was 10am). Maybe the cleaners were there to do some other work (they didn't talk to me at all) but after everything else I felt harassed. If you are like me and prefer to be left in peace for your holiday I would suggest staying elsewhere.

Lovely place but management is uptight

We stayed  here for a few days whilst on the sunshine coast for a wedding. The Cathedral Cottage is huge. The beds are comfy. The units are well equipped and clean. There is  plenty of space in the grounds and private outdoor space. Whilst the bathrooms are a little tired, it doest detract from the cottage. The bottle of wine on arrival is a nice touch.

Stayed 2 lovely nights in the Bunya cottage. Very peaceful with great views of the surrounding countryside. Well presented location and the cottage was very comfortable and clean. Satisfied with all amenities, only small drawback was the bbq ran out of gas but the electric hotplate in the kitchen was adequate for our needs (new gas bottle would have been provided if I had asked). Had a very relaxing couple of days here thank you. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully get to stay here again.

Hinterland Hideaway

We stayed in the holiday house. It is configured as 4 double / twin bedrooms, however there is only 1 toilet and bathroom which can cause issues. The views are lovely and it is quiet. The pool outside had many leaves in it an it was obvious it had not been cleaned before we arrived. The owners fit the title of the review. Tom was lovely and very helpful however the lady owner was very prickly and told us off for not taking our rubbish away. Just to point out this was during our stay. In their instructions they ask you to take your rubbish away to the bins but do not say where the bins are. The only ones we could see were marked private but this is where you are to put your rubbish! In general the house was well equipped in the kitchen with plenty of storage. Another comment from the ladies is that the place is lacking plugs near the mirrors to help with doing their hair. The site pool is heated and is lovely. When we left we did not want any more hassle from the lady owner so we showed the cleaners how we had left the place and they were impressed by how we had left the condition of the property
