We had a very clean, well maintained cabin.  Big tight but more than adequate for the 2 nights we were there. Excellent if you have a pet as you can take them for a walk in very big grounds along the river. A very well run, large enterprise.

Great for pet owners

Have not stayed in the rooms, but have been to there for a birthday, great meals and very quick service even when very busy. All our meals were excellent and very tasty. The children had fun in the new play ground.

We stayed at the Palm & Prawn over Easter for a 50th Birthday celebration.  It's such a great family friendly pub.  Dining area inside, plus a great beer garden outside complete with volleyball court, tennis court and swimming pool that all visitors can use.  The pub meals were absolutely amazing and great value for money.  Owners are about to undertake renovations, so looking to go back later to see how things go.  Rooms were clean and comfortable, very reasonably priced and the Duncans are amazing hosts and make you feel at home. Would definitely stay again.

Great Family Friendly Pub

Situated in North Wagga Wagga just 5 mins from the Main Street of Wagga Wagga the Palm and Pawn is fabulous. The rooms are clean if basic. The beds were so soft and comfortable. The reception is in the pub itself and the staff are friendly and helpful. Don’t freak out when you see that the rooms are next to the pub, the blinds are completely black out and you can’t see in. The bathrooms are very basic and you do need to bring shampoo/conditioner. They do make the rooms everyday for you. It can be a little noisy at night but the pub does close at midnight and 10pm on Sunday so is quiet then. They also have a courtesy bus so if you want to go into town just ask at reception (starts at 5pm). The food is great there if you don’t want to go into town. There is an amazing play area for the kids and it does have a family feel about it. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Wagga Wagga. Note that there is a pool, but it is currently closed. 

Fabulous Budget Priced accomodation 

Book ahead if your dropping in for lunch on the weekend. This place is popular.
The menu is not extensive but what they lack in variety is made up by their A grade Parma 
If your in Wagga , well worth it.

Lunch

We had the $10.00 lunch today.  250 gm rump steak with chips and salad. A nice day so we ate in the covered outdoor area at the back of the pub. Lots of good sized seating with capacity for large numbers or small groups of 2 - 4. Steak was well cooked, salad tasty and the chips quite nice. For $10 it was a bargain and a good sized meal. Food was brought to our table with hardly any wait time by pleasant staff.  We'll be back to try other items on the menu thats for sure.

Nice, cheap meal at the Palm and Pawn

We ventured to Wagga for training purpose and decided to have a meal at the nearest Pub, it wasn't your boutique club or pub, just a plain friendly place with great food excellent atmosphere and friendly staff well worth a visit.

Old but nice

Stayed here with a group traveling to Qld. Rooms are clean and fit the purpose of an overnight stop. Bathrooms are dated but clean. Hotel/Restaurant attached, meals were good. It's a pub so there was plenty of variety with the meals. Although busy the meals came out together without a long wait. Staff were friendly.

Value for money

Reasonable priced hotel, has a pub attached so can get meals, big parking spaces, simple rooms, clean, aircon was so quiet, bed comfortable, bathroom slightly dated but shower pressure was perfect, staff very friendly, would recommend if just passing through for the night, it’s all you need!

Great hotel for a nights rest

Dirty stained toilet, mouldy shower curtain, rusty towel rails, main bathroom light not working, stained and damaged carpet, mattress is extremely worn and uncomfortable.
I slept on top of the bed as I started scratching as soon as I sat on the bed so didn't want to risk sleeping under the covers. Fortunately I had brought my own pillow.
I did take a look under the covers and the bed was not made professionally so I had doubts that the linen was fresh and clean.

Ashtray outside of my room full of buts and they also have rodent traps outside the rooms.
