We booked 2 nights in a room that on first inspection looked clean. Spent the first night eaten alive by something in the bed. Felt something crawling all over me during the night. Pulled bed apart next morning to find what looked like  insect droppings all over the mattress. Spoke to the owner who offered new sheets. WE checked out as didnt want to go through that again. Owner says he will talk to his mother about a refund (shes the receptionist) .She rings later in the day and says if that is your only complaint you don't get a refund.

Stay at your own peril

Booked for 2 nights for our 20th wedding anniversary.  On first inspection the room looked lovely. Gotten eaten alive by something in the bed that night and woke up with the feeling somethng was crawling all over me all night. Next morning was covered in bite marks. ON inspection of the mattress found what i can only describe as insect dropping all in the crevises of the mattress. Spoke to the owner who offered new sheets. Refused and tolf him we did not want to stay for a second night. Said he would speak to the receptionist(his mother when she cam ein later that day about a refund.) she rang us later that day to say if that was our only problem we must have been bitten else where not in here roo,(yeah right) then we were not getting a refund.Total loss of quite an amount of money and it runined my anniversary.

I'd never stay here again

Lovely room, walking distance to a couple of restaurants (although take a torch, no street lights). Fireplace and spa, very clean and new, friendly check in and then we were left alone, although we had a phone number if there were any issues (there were none). Would recommend it for a romantic getaway.

Anniversary getaway

If you are in need of a relaxing hideaway this is the place for you.  The cabin consisted of 3 large rooms - a bedroom dominated by a solid 4 poster bed, a bathroom featuring a 2 person corner spa, and a very inviting lounge/kitchen with a cosy fireplace.  Decor was perfect down to the finest derail. Hubby and I had no desire to leave the cabin - it was a complete relaxing break away.

Sad to leave this relaxing getaway

cute chalets for couples and 2 bedroom cottages with beautiful beds- fire place- spa bath..... all clean and fresh.     wander through the grounds and surrounding walks to waterfalls, listen to birds and smell the rustic smells of life on the mountain. Maz's is close to coffee shops and restaurants to walk.
