What a lovely surprise as you go down the winding driveway. Pretty gardens with nice clean cabins and a lovely pool area. We were even given breakfast supplies to assist with a lazy morning before setting out to explore the area. Lennox heads and a good variety of restaurants is just 10 minutes down the road.

A little oasis

I stayed here for 3 nights, the hosts Trish and David were the most wonderful people, so friendly and accommodating, always checking everything was ok. Set in acres of Bushland the property was so quiet, and the local birds and waterways enhanced the relaxing atmosphere. Byron central only a 10 minute drive away for shopping and eating. The cottage was self contained, a kitchenette that was fully equipped for reheating foods, breakfast hamper supplied with cereals, snacks, milk, tea and both instant and plunger coffee,bread and assorted spreads for quick breakfasts. 
The cottage was spacious,very clean, with a very comfortable queen sized bed, tastefully decorated, gas heating, couch, dining table and the best thing was the claw foot bath which allowed full relaxation at the end of each day, as did the deck which overlooked the bushland and waterways. The pool looked amazing, however due it being winter I was unable to utilize it. 
No WiFi available at the property, my network had limited signal strength, though this did not detract from my stay at all, it was actually quite refreshing to be semi "off the grid" in order to fully rewind and take in the serenity this property has to offer.

Amazing Retreat in the heart of the bush, close enough to the beach and shopping

this was the perfect get away! solitude in style that is affordable...what sold us on this place was the tub (to tell ya the truth...) and the rest wasnt so shabby either!
the pool, the private setting, the cleanliness, not to mention the friendliness of the owners...who needs the craziness of the old byron bay when the beauty of the beaches that are closer are not so crowded! worth coming all the way down from the US for this!

never mind the madness down the road...unwind here!

We stayed here three nights and found the location great as we wanted to explore the whole region. Being positioned halfway between Byron Bay and Lennox Heads made this easy as it was only approx 15 minutes to either.

Our cottage was spotlessly clean and the decor lovely.  We had a lovely huge deck with bbq which would be great if you had visitors.

A basket of breakfast items, and milk, butter, eggs etc in the fridge was a welcome surprise.

I'd read reviews about poor internet and mobile coverage, we are with Telstra and had no issues.

Management were really friendly but not overbearing at all, gave us some tips on spots to visit and the local Dawn Service on Anzac day.

In all we absolutely loved our stay, especially when the pricing is taken into consideration and will be back in the warmer months to enjoy the pool!

Fantastic accomodation! Loved It!

We stayed at the Bundaleer Retreat at the beginning of february and booked for 4 nights. We loved it there so much we decided to extend for another 2. Trish and David are wonderfull people and make you feel at home. They also have some great tipps of what to do in the area. The retreat is about a 10 min drive from byron and is located very peacefully. The Bungalow was great, spaceous, clean and offered all one can wish for. The poolarea is beautiful, surrounded by palmtrees. I highly recommend this place. Thank you David and Trish for making our stay a great one to remember. Fintan&Nynke
