WOW, where should I start with this place. Marisa & Greg have created a wonderful relaxing oasis at Ghost Hill Road Retreat. 

My partner and I were gifted a stay here as a Christmas present and we thoroughly enjoyed a wonderfully calm, recharging two night stay in the Crescent Moon Two-Bedroom Cabin this past weekend. 

There were so many intimate little pieces to the weekend, the cabin, our stay. From the warm welcome on arrival by Marisa & Greg, to the cheese plate & bottle of bubbles, chocolates, fresh flowers on the table, personally address welcome & instructions letter, a wonderfully stocked breakfast hamper of bacon, tomatoes, eggs, mushrooms, parsley, milk, juice, apples, butter, a full locally made sourdough loaf, local honey, jam, pancake mix, granola, tea, coffee, sugar, as well as a stocked pantry of other commonly used items. 

There was also two pieces of apple tea cake with fresh berries and cream awaiting us in our cabin. Arriving to a toasty warm cabin (Marisa & Greg had already put the heater on for our arrival) and music playing was a delight. 

Wood and kindling were stocked for the open wood fire, which is a true love of mine and we made sure to make good use of the luxury that a wood fire gives you. 

The spa bath was big enough for both of us to enjoy, with more notable touches of candles and little locally made soaps, that smelt divine. 

Sitting outside on the front porch of the cabin with a morning coffee was absolute bliss. As was the mesmerising view at night, a wonderful natural darkness allowing for viewing of copious amounts of stars. Making the stargazer in me from way back, extremely happy. 

The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make a delicious dinner, gas four burner stove, microwave, plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans. The kitchen also contains two small fridges, toaster, kettle & coffee machine. There is also a bbq on the porch to cook on.

Massages were included in our stay, either 1 x 1hr (1 person) or a 2 x 30mins (two people), my partner and I opted for the 30 minute massage each and we were not disappointed. Michelle was wonderful with the massages and we both highly recommend. Usually I just lay there quietly during a massage but this time I had a wonderful conversation with Michelle while getting my massage. She was friendly and engaging and both the massage and conversation were lovely.

The property has plenty of natural bush land surrounding the cabin, with a walking track, picnic areas and a labyrinth. 

Whether you’re wanting to explore the Bilpin, Berambing and surrounds area or just wanting to lounge around and escape reality for a couple of nights, this is most certainly the place to do it. 

Marisa, Greg & Michelle are a beautiful family and have a wonderful little spot of Australia with Ghost Hill Road Retreat. We will definitely be back for another stay as well as recommending this gem to everyone we know.

It’s the little things

Perfectly secluded cosy cabins with all the facilities you need, even a toothbrush and razor! Idealic location for tranquil relaxation with central access to all the sites and treats offered in the Blue Mountains locale. The personal service provided by Marisa, Greg and Michele are the epitome of ease, elegance and good taste. We enjoyed a marvelous  stay and will surely be back again. 😊😊😊

Simply divine!

Dear Marisa and Greg,
Thankyou so much for sharing your gorgeous property with us.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by yourselves and your beautiful grand daughter we knew we were just where we needed to be for q much needed weekend away.

The cottage itself ( Crescent Moon ) was perfect in every way, exactly as described and the cutest little rustic log cabin with all the mod cons you could possibly need.

What really blew us away though was all the little thoughtful touches throughout the cottage.  The acknowledgement of our anniversary,  the home made cake, cheese platter, wine and of course an abundance of breakfast goodies.

We have never seen such attendance to detail or so many personal touches in any place before, talk about the 'wow factor'

We toyed with keeping this amazing find to ourselves 😉, but decided that such welcoming accommodation as yours just needs to be shared.

My partner and I stayed here for his 30th birthday weekend. We had the most wonderful stay, it was so peaceful being surrounded by the forest and birdlife in a secluded cabin. The breakfast hamper is delicious aswell! Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful getaway

What an idyllic place to chill out and escape the city actually you can almost feel like you are the only ones on the planet in this little oasis. The surroundings are lush, green and so very quiet except for the birds we barely heard another sound, what a peaceful sleep!  The cabin itself "New Moon" is just gorgeous and everything has been provided for, there isn't a thing you could want for, it seems Greg and Marisa have thought of everything.  From heating to warm the cain before the fire gets started, to more than enough blankets to keep you cosy.  On arrival there  is fresh Bilpin apples, a cheese plate, a chilled bottle of cider bubbles in the fridge, chocolates,homemade apple cake all waiting for us so many delicious treats!  There is also all the supplies to cook an amazing breakfast!  The spa is the perfect size and although its a little slow to fill it is beautifully warm and utterly relaxing.
The whole place is immaculate in presentation and all the thoughtfulness put into it makes it feel like a home away from home.
I couldn't rate it more highly, we will definitely be back here when i need a little peace and quiet.

A piece of heaven of you need some peace and quiet

this place was a great place to stay went there for the weekend for a wedding at chapel hill retreat which was just 2 mins away. cottage was great fully decked out with everything we needed food,wood fire,a/c,fridges,good size beds,bathroom and a spa bath. and the price for two nights was very very reasonable. would vist again and again. highly recommended if you really want to get away and relax. and great host thanks marisa and gary loved our stay. will be back someday

Ghost Hill Road Stay

I don't know where to start! This would have to be one of the best places we've ever stayed. The cottage was very well equipped, clean, spacious and private. We were blown away with the little extras that were provided; breakfast hamper, cake, wine, chocolates, fresh fruit, cut wood to burn etc. The heating and music was on when we arrived, which was a nice touch. Such a perfect place to unwind for a few days, we didn't want to leave! Highly recommend Ghost hill retreat!! Will definately be back! Thanks again Marisa and Greg :)

Absolutely wonderful! So relaxing!

We stayed two night in the beautiful new moon lodge. The place was amazing, Marisa and Greg where great host, couldn't fault anything. The lodge had all you needed for a great relaxing weekend.  Having a shower while being in the middle of know where. Big open window looking out to nature. Fire place ready for those cold nights. Me fire wood placed outside ready for your use. Breakfast was waiting for us the fridge. (We didn't eat it to lazy to cook it) after a big night, at a friends wedding. The cheese plate was a lovely touch and delicious. They have thought of everything. Thank you for our stay we will visit again.
