This place is amazing. We absolutely loved our 3 nights staying in the upstairs suite that had its own bedroom, bathroom, balcony and sitting room. 
It was a wonderful place to relax in each evening after big days of exploring the McDonnell Ranges.
Everything was spacious and so clean. It’s a beautiful house with so many different spaces to choose to relax in. There was so much room for everyone in the communal areas, we loved the fire place.
I also felt very safe here, it was 4kms out of town in a nice neighbourhood with a great outback view. It was quiet and peaceful.
Breakfast was incredible, so much delicious fresh food that you can cook up any way you choose. Then lovely Helen comes and does all your dishes! Helen is a wonderful host.
I can’t imagine there is any better place to stay in Alice Springs, it was hard to leave!

Oasis in the Desert

Ian and Helen were excellent hosts, providing us with all the information we needed and answering questions before we arrived and Ian was very welcoming and made us feel at home immediately with a tour of the house and facilities available to us.

Our room was very comfortable consisting of the bedroom, another room with sofa and desk which was very handy and the bathroom. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast in the morning was amazing with many options to choose from like coffee, tea, juice, meusli, fresh fruits, yoghurt, toast, bacon, eggs, tomatoes for cooking and much more, and to top it off Ian and Helen were there to look after things as well as have a chat and offer helpful local information for our trip.

We really enjoyed our stay, wouldn't hesitate to come again and highly recommend it to others.

Fantastic B&B

Stayed here for 2 nights as a base for an organised coach trip to the Uluru-kata Tjuta national park. Great spacious accommodation comprising lounge, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. The host, Helen. was very welcoming, flexible and helpful. Breakfast was self catering  with excellent range of provisions made available for a continental and cooked breakfast. Self catering facilities were available for lunch and evening meal. Additionally, a washing machine was available for use which was greatly appreciated as we were 2 weeks into our travels. If you have your own transport then this is an ideal base for exploring the Alice Springs area and beyond. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast in Alice Springs

Fantastic stay- we had a lovely room with a spa bath ensuite and our own little living room. The B&B’s main lounge however was shared and very nice along with the fantastically well stocked kitchen that we could cook up whatever we liked in. 
Then there was an amazing outdoor space with a pool for those hot days. So much room to be on your own or enjoy time with other guests. 
With great hosts, yummy breakfasts and comfy beds and aircon rooms you really could do much better than this!

Wonderful find that we hope to return to one day!

we stayed twice for 2 resp 3 nights  during our Alice Springs/Uluru/Kings Canyon tour, a wonderful, cozy experience, felt like home thanks to Emma and Cait.
Spacious  clean room with comfortable bed, nice shower, wonderful garden with pool (refreshing after the ASP desert) and outdoor seating , BBQ, etc. large inside lounge and great kitchen (tasty self service breakfast with all the ingredients you can wish).
The ladies were really helpful in settling in the first night by providing dinner adresses and explaining the  NT special procedure for buying beer and wine !

what a wonderful place

This BnB is amazing. So spacious!!
Never stayed in a home like it. 
We had our own very large aircon bedroom, bathroom, lounge with a 2nd TV and huge deck. 
Plus the use of another lounge downstairs, dining and gourmet kitchen. We could use washer and dryer which was handy. 
The owners are such lovely, accomodating , kind people that it just made our stay. They would do anything for you- their kindness knows no bounds. They make sure you have dinner supplies & will drive you to the supermarket- nothing is a problem. 
We felt so at home that we stayed in to eat each night we were there. 
There’s a state of the art kitchen, lovely bbq area & the best cool pool setting. Why would you leave?
Even kitchen staples are easily accessible. The included breakfast is mammoth & sets you up for the day. 
We met some other house guests who were interesting & delightful. 
Made for a memorable stay. 
I would not hesitate to stay again.   

Best BnB we’ve ever stayed

After a four day camping trip in the outback I had decided to treat myself to a bit of luxury and booked into Wilmots on Dixon. It completely exceeded my expectations. This is a beautiful property, with every comfort imaginable. I could have easily just stayed at the B&B instead of going out to do the sight-seeing I had planned in Alice Springs. And the breakfast! If you visit Alice Springs and don't stay here, you are missing out!

Don't stay anywhere else!

It was 0 degrees outside at night, but we were toasty warm and as snug as bugs in a rug.
What a lovely home! Beautiful rooms, spacious surroundings, sitting areas all over the place and a kitchen to die for.  Our hosts were attentive but not in our face and every detail was attended to, even down to the guest washing machine and dryer.  Helen covered the kitchen bench with gorgeous goodies for us to gorge every morning (and we did!!). We cooked for ourselves too; we used the coffee machine when we felt like it and helped ourselves to fruit and fresh muffins which seemed to magically appear throughout the day. The fireplace outside was a great hit Ian; you did such a great job with the ambience of your house; the organic desert shapes and Helen's tasteful decoration and mosaic artistry.  We'll be back; no more sterile serviced apartments in Alice Springs for us ever again. Thank you.

Oh my, what a find!!!

Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, good Air Con,the decor is lovely. Balcony area was private and the are a number of other outdoor areas to sit. The Pool was a lovely sight at night.Our little Puppy loved Wilmots and I do believe he thought it was his new home. Helen and Ian have a very patent dog of their own, who remained gentle under some what must have been annoying Puppy attention.
The owners provided everything that you could think of including home made Muffins and Bread. Cook your own breakfast was enjoyable and we had our privacy.Large dining/Lounge area with huge TV and Fox tel,the bedrooms all had there own TV's. The Owners are lovely, thoughtful people.To top it off the Outdoor Fire Place and the Pool lights at night were just beautiful. It looks out onto the bush and you have enough privacy. Would highly recommend Wilmots on Dixon and hope to stay again.

Beautiful setting, Puppy/Dog Friendly, Very peaceful

We stayed 3 nights at this Amazing Home. We stayed downstairs and had our own sitting , TV room with Aircon as well as the bedroom and lovely bathroom with Spa. Breakfast was Amazing and helens fresh cooked muffins and Bread are Awesome. Helen and Ian were Fantastic hosts and went above and beyond by letting us stay late until 4 till we went to Tain station to board The Ghan. You do need a car to get around and if you want a great place to eat go to Bojangles in town. I recommend this to everyone to stay here. Thanks Helen & Ian.
