The building is located in a very secure and quiet alley. It's more like a small street with cars access.
The owner, Kaori, is sweet and has a warmest smile. She helps tenants with all the city information. Even local hospital with doctors speak English for some emergency situation. Her little son also love helping after school on giving the best services.
We stayed for 3 months. The place is ideal for short term. It's really not easy to find good place like this for 3 months in Saigon.
There are good restaurants nearby. We love the New York Steak House right at the corner of Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Dinh Tien Hoang.
It's near the Thi Nghe river for a good exercise jog/run.
Overall, we love the place and coming back this year.

Lovely apartment room for couples

This place is a hidden gem! Not many recent reviews, but don't be concerned -the place is kept neat, clean, looks nice, and the owner is the BEST! We had trouble booking it online because they didn't answer their emails (they must do well enough I guess?) so we actually booked the room when we just walked by it when visiting the nearby chabad. For only 27 dollars a night, the room was spotless, even had a kitchenette and they do your laundry for free. The bed was quite hard but that's pretty run of the mill in Vietnam.  For those who keep Shabbat, they already knew the deal about lights and not carrying, so that made things even more comfortable.  Would highly recommend and would definitely go back!! 

Fabulous place near chabad, in the quieter part of town

we stayed at Saigon lotus apartment hotel. we choose the place because it is very close to Chabad house. The owner is very nice and speaks good English. there is a room service for breakfast / there is a complementary laundry service.We enjoyed our stay and recomt=end it to our friends.

The apartment we got was perfect! nice clean rooms, clean bathrooms, one of the best showers we've had in Vietnam so far- and the Japanese owner- the sweetest women around! she was very helpful and pleasant, and just made our stay there very nice. It's quite far from the center of the city, like a 45 min walk or dollar and a half cab to where things happen- but if you want some quiet away from the city- we highly recommend!

For those looking to for short-term apts in HCMC, Saigon Lotus is a great choice. We loved feeling like residents of the city, as opposed to tourists staying in a hotel. The owner, Kelly, is Japanese, and has put a lot of thought and effort into the apts. They are clean, well-located, the AC is fabulous, and we really enjoyed our stay!
