We had a fantastic time with Stevie. He is a wonderful host. The breakfast is unbeatably good. Every day there was a different Venezuelan delicacy. He speaks German, English and of course Spanish, so there is a wonderful mix of interesting guests. And he himself is available more or less around the clock to answer questions, offers walks to the lagoon, took us to San Juan, organized cabs for us and much much more! We were super happy and felt we were in wonderful hands.

Such an amazing experience. We stayed in the blue room, super quiet, comfortable bed, very private and lots of storage. The breakfasts are out of this world, amazing. The hosts are so helpful and super nice and even transported us to and from the airport.
We will be back.

Stevie Wonderland simply is the absolutely best posada where I have ever stayed… and I am lucky to have traveled to a lot of places.  Intimate, personal, homey, comfortable. A true home away from home, in the lovely Yaque area of Isla Margarita. Each room is individually decorated with personal items from the travel life of Stefan and Anita, the owners and your new best friends should anyone choose to stay with them. Each corner of the property is filled with love, beautiful plants, hammocks… a lovely pool at the center to cool off during hot days. Rooms are well air conditioned, hot showers, comfortable and spacious. Books and personalized decor make us feel at home instead of just another cookie cutter hotel room. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and truly not at all far.
Breakfasts are delightful and simply the best there could be. And SO MUCH FOOD you won’t have to worry about having much more during day, with the exception of some delicious fresh oysters or cocadas on the beach.
Stefan, Anita, Greta, and the team made me feel so welcomed! They also became a part of my extended travel family. I was traveling solo, and I never felt alone whenever I wanted to have their company. I simply cannot wait for the day that I visit again. Thanks for the amazing memories, my Isla Margarita Family!!

Can't Wait to Go Back!!

If you are looking for a place where to enjoy the perfect weather of the sunny Carribean seas with some privacy and quietness? This is the place to be! This is our second time to stay at the Posada. The owners, Stefan and Anita, are a lovely couple who are always present to attend to your questions, suggestions and more. The room is very homey with a good selection of English channels. Many hotels in town have cable TVs, but it is hard to find one that has English or have remote controls that can switch from Spanish to the English language. Stevie Wonderland Posada provides comfortable beds, good breakfast, wifi, several nooks by the pool to read and relax. It is quite a reasonable distance from the beach and the hustle and bustle of the town. 

A Wonderland Indeed!

Anita and Stevie are wonderful hosts doing everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as it gets. Rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. Each one designed with an individual style. There is also a fully equipped huge kitchen, a nice pool if you need to cool-down yourself from the carribean heat and a beautiful garden with flowers and trees of all types. 
Breakfast is just spectacular.
Staff is very friendly and helpful and the overall vibe reminded me more of a family than a business. 
Also, the posada is located like 250m from "El Yaque" a famous beach and also one of the most important Kite and Windsurf Spots on earth.
It´s a very safe zone and walking alone isnt a problem at all, even at night.
Also, whenever you´d like to see other parts of the Island they will provide you with safe and cheap taxi service.
StevieWonderland is the perfect place to get people an enjoyable, yet still authentic venezuela experience. 
I took my mother and a friend from germany there. And while both haven´t had any latinamerica experience at all and close to 0 spanish knowledge they enjoyed their time at the posada a lot and felt comfortable and secure at any point.
Without any doubt, i am going to return.

Beautiful Posada and very nice Hosts

I stayed 2 weeks in StevieWonderLand in El Yaque and I can totally recommend the posada. It is super clean and tidy - at the same time you really feel home as the staff makes you feel very welcome. Full recommendation - no downsides.

The best hospitality throughout Margarita.

Stevie Wonderland gives a wonderful balance to a visit to Margarita. It is a peaceful retreat after a day on the lively beach at El Yaque, a break from the music of the bars that line the beach. The pool is perfect in the evening after a day out around the island. Breakfasts are excellent - plentiful and nutritious. Mari and Malu are very welcoming hosts.
