Not only a great location, but the rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and Room 106 had a phenomenal view of downtown. The house itself is a stately craftsman that has been really well maintained and appointed. 

I found this hotel after a short-term air rental went bad with another person staying in the unit. When I called up this inn, Ryan found a room and said come over. I checked in with Joelle who also had a great demeanor. Turns out I will not need to use a short-term rental again as the Seattle Gaslight Inn will now be my go-to location on trips to Seattle. 

Capitol Hill Gem

I had a delightful stay at the Seattle Gaslight Inn! I was there for a work event, and it was conveniently located within walking distance of the school. There are lots of great restaurants around as well as cute shops and stores for basic needs. Ryan and Joelle are wonderful hosts and even accommodated our group by serving breakfast early before we needed to leave each day. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room by the fire in the evenings, and the bed in my room was so comfortable! I will definitely look forward to staying at the Gaslight Inn again!

Historic Inn on Capital Hill with Excellent Hosts!

What a great find!  I spent the weekend in Room 105 of this beautiful historic mansion.  The bed/bedding was fantastic, slept like a baby which doesn't happen often at hotels.  The self-check-in was super easy.  Ryan and Joelle were amazing hosts and helped me find my way around the city, including a great walk to a park just down the road.  Location was perfect.  I will definitely be back the next time I am in Seattle.  

Amazing Retreat in the Heart of the City

Fabulous B&B!!  The place is gorgeous-full of craftsman woodworking and antiques ( comfy new beds).   Good breakfast fare and nice walking to restaurants.-shops .   We had a fun walk  to Pikes Market and rode the subway back.   The Innkeepers Ryan -Joelle are very kind and helpful.  I only wish I could have stayed longer!!

Beautiful B&B in a fun neighborhood.

We were welcomed by Ryan who showed us to our beautiful room. The room was spotlessly clean and we felt at home immediately. We explored the local area, Ryan recommended a local seafood restaurant which did not disappoint. Breakfast was set up for us in the morning and even had a gluten free option. We enjoyed a relaxed breakfast with the other guests and shared our travel stories. We were able to leave our bags for the morning whilst we explored Seattle. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer …. But we will certainly be back to this delightful, historical home.

Fantastic place to stay

Our daughter chose The Gaslight Inn for us and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Ryan welcomed us and showed us around the gorgeous historic property with stunning woodwork and details. Our room was spacious, quiet and carefully decorated with a comfortable bed. The shower had permanent bottles of supplies which were easy to use and eco-friendly! We had a luxurious experience with waffle-weave robes, a delicious breakfast, a balcony with view of the pool and Space Needle! The hosts are friendly, gracious, and knowledgeable about the area. We will definitely be back with more family members next time!

Historic & Excellent!

A little late submitting this review, but we had an excellent experience at Gaslight. The house is lovely and comfortable, no complaints about the room, generous and quality options for heavy continental breakfast, and hosts could not have been more helpful or charming. We enjoyed meeting the other guests at bees each morning. Easy access via public transportation to all the in-town attractions. As a gay couple we were extremely comfortable staying here. Highly recommend.

This is such a beautiful and comfortable inn. The location is fabulous and great for walking around Capitol Hill, downtown, over to the arboretum, and many other Seattle gems.
The beds and rooms are really soft. I only met one of the owners (Ryan), but he was so caring. 

The shared area is fantastic for a book or a chat or doing work, although there is plenty of space in the actual bedrooms.

Everything is really clean. 

I didn’t get to have breakfast because of an appointment and then the next day just sleeping too long, but it looked great.

The toiletries they use are fantastic. 

I’m kind of weird about my water, and I am not crazy about the taste of Seattle water. So I typically bring a water purifier/filter to hotels. I didn’t need to use it because there are hot and cold water stations in the hallway. I cannot fully explain how delighted this made me.

Anyway, warm, inviting, superb location, excellent tasting water, comfortable bed… I will definitely be back.

Wonderful inn at fantastic location.

The Gaslight Inn was a perfect spot !  My sister and I spent 5 days at this lovely Inn with our charming hosts while we visited with my nephew and toured the city.  From the moment we walked in the door, Joelle and Ryan made us feel right at home.  The Gaslight Inn will definitely be our first stop when we return to Seattle!

Charming, comfortable, and very welcoming!

Joelle spared no effort in making us feel extremely welcome after a long and difficult day's travel.  Our room was gorgeous; the furnishings superb and the breakfast delicious!  

The neighbourhood offers a great choice of restaurants which Joelle shared with us. 

We particularly enjoyed chatting with Joelle about the history of the house and how they came to own it.
