The lobby was fresh, and clean. The gentleman that checked us in was very pleasant, and courteous.
But, beyond that when entering the room..It was super clean, cool, and Inviting with a large welcoming bed and pristine, and immaculate newly tiled shower with excellent water pressure.
It was tucked away nicely, which gave a quiet and restful atmosphere. 10 Stars ⭐️

Pleasantly Surprised!!!

My husband & I arrived to check in (had reserved a room in advance & was coming from NC) between 10:30-10:45 on a Thursday night (6/8). My husband went in first & was unable to find anyone to assist him with check-in. We sat in the car for about 5-10 min. attempting to call the front desk, in hopes the front desk associate had the phone on them & we could speak with them but no luck with this after calling multiple times. My husband & I both went in the lobby & started to knock on the office doors, repeatedly ringing the bill on the desk, & calling out for someone, to no avail. After about a 20-30 min. wait the other lady there waiting finally found an associate in a room, claiming that he was "fixing Spectrum" & stated that "he had been watching us", while holding up his phone that reflected a camera that was located in the lobby. My husband proceeded to tell him that we had been there for a quite a while. An apology was not made first...he claimed "he had been watching us", clearing looking like he had just woke up. If that was the case, I wish he would have just led with an apology & told us that. After about an hour..we were finally in our room. Loud music & the smell of marijuana was wafting from a car in the parking lot. There was an odd smell in the room, none of the outlets worked, & the a table lamp was sitting on the floor.

Will definitely not be coming back

The worst hotel experience ever.  Front desk looked gorgeous from the road. Welcomed by friendly employee.  However he told me room was newly renovated and very clean. We had been driving all day in thunderstorms so we pulled off and trusted his advice.  The room was filthy and not renovated properly. An adjoining door was not locked and we could hear everything.  The bathtub had rusty plugs. The towel rack was full of gyprock dirt. The walls were covered in paint but old paint still showed through.  Dirt was on the floor.  Breakfast was not available til next week but the coffee pots had gyprock dust over them.  I washed my feet from the dirt on the floor. 

Not at all good!! Stay away!

This hotel does not look like much from the outside. But it is a work in progress. Our room had new floors, new tv, new fridge and microwave, new beds. They are still doing a remodel. Ill be back next month and we will be staying here. Great room for the money

Very nice people, remodeled room, perfect for us

I booked through hotwire but when I got there they told me that the booking hadn't gone through. At this point I thought that I should probably just stay at the Best Western...but decided to stay at Motel 6 because the guy who I believe was the main housekeeper (indian ethnicity) was very nice. They charged me for the room, I left the next morning. When I checked my creditcard statement a few days later I realized that the hotwire charge did go through and I was charged double for the room. I called the Motel but there was never any person in charge that could help me, I then wrote them a letter asking them to reimburse me. Never heard from them, it's been 9 weeks. Mike at  Motel 6: are you planning on reimbursing me for the double charge???

Charged twice/ no refund

I would give this hotel a zero if I could. Absolutely filthy. My room smells like a dirty ashtray. I can’t even call the front desk because the phone doesn’t work. And it is so dirty I wouldn’t use it anyway. I’m so tired I just needed a place to sleep. Never again. 

Disgusting 

My internet wasn't working on my phone so just saw the sign. Motel 6 used to be good at one time. The room was more than terrible. As soon as I enter the room my nose went crazy. As I know I'm not allergic to anything but something in that room sure set my nose off. It said it had internet but I could not hook into it.

This motel is currently being upgraded and renovated for the past two months since Motel 6 took over.  My wife and I stayed 4 nights and were both surprised and pleased with the large very clean room and its comfortable king size bed.  Everything in the room worked well:  air conditioner, microwave, mini-fridge AND, always hot water!  The staff were all very pleasant, helpful, and informative, particularly the young girl (I forgot her name) and Mike.  Once all of the renovations and repairs are completed, the motel will be even better.  A great bargain for the price in a quiet location a good distance from the main road.

Large clean room & wonderful staff

This is an old hotel, maybe a former Holiday Inn. The only good things that I can say about this place is that the water is hot and the people are very nice. The heater had to be on all night because it was cold outside. The heater was very noisy, so we had trouble getting to sleep even though we were really tired from driving all day. The bedding is old and sags and the pillows are very soft.
