I had a wonderful stay at the Persimmon Inn! I was in town for 1 night for business. The Persimmon Inn was in the perfect location (walking distance to everything) and offered a great price. The Inn was super comfortable and the hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. My room was adorable and comfortable with a spectacular bathroom. Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful stay

Quiet house within walking distance of all that downtown Bloomington and campus have to offer. Near Cardinal Spirits as well. Free parking.  Better cost value than most of the area hotels. Paul and Sue are very friendly and welcoming.  This is simply an all-around great place to stay.

Possibly the best place to stay in Bloomington

We loved our stay! Comfy and cozy yet a feel of luxury. I love that they’re Eco-Focused and support their local community! It’s the Perfect location to walk everywhere.  Paul is a king and accommodating hosts.

Cozy

The Persimmon Inn is a comfortable and quiet inn. The owner is helpful but not obtrusive in any way. Accommodations were very nice, breakfast was good, towels were great Turkish towels, and it was so quiet and cozy. Also, the inn is convenient to the university, restaurants, and is in a nice neighborhood.

Terrific inn

My stay here was perfect for my needs. Spent most of the day/evening with our daughter, so didn't need the facilities for anything other then sleeping and the breakfast. Paul was extremely kind and informative with restaurant suggestions. My only complaint was what someone else wrote it that you do hear when people are downstairs and when someone is going up and down the stairs. It didn't bother me except that I had a very early flight (alarm set for 5:00 a.m.) and the room next to me came back to the inn @ 3:45 a.m. with a cooler filled with slush/ ice and didn't carry it up the stairs but dragged it up each step.  Needless to say it woke me and I couldn't fall back to sleep in anticipation of my alarm going off. 
The amenities are lovely and carefully thought out. This is not a hotel where they come into your room and make the bed, empty the garbage daily. So if this bothers you then this place isn't for you. I didn't mind this at all. I was told if I needed new towels they would be glad to provide but I did not need them. Priced was beyond fair and reasonable! I absolutely would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Accomodations

The owners of Persimmon Inn provide personal touches that made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Everything was exquisitely clean, and the bed/linens are cozy and luxurious. 
Breakfast included healthy organic selections that were satisfying and delicious. The owner, Paul, was engaging and informative. As first-time visitors from Chicago, we appreciated the tips he provided for dining and grocery shopping. We look forward our next visit at Persimmon Inn!
