What a wonderful B&B. I can't say enough good things. We stayed in the family room, a clean, beautiful room with a large bed and two twin beds, perfect for a family of four. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Coffee and cake was served in the afternoons. A large selection of books, games, and dvds provided evening entertainment for the family. The hotel is located across the road from a playground, which was a wonderful bonus. Careful measures were taken regarding covid, so I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. I would stay here again without hesitation and would highly recommend. 

Wonderful Stay

Had an excellent stay, host Liza was very welcoming. Room and communal rooms very clean and tidy, bedroom very spacious and had all you needed and private bathroom. Breakfast was amazing and a good variety you could pre order at the start of your stay. Tea and cake offered in the afternoons in the dining room. 
Followed the COVID-19 guidelines and put everyone at ease.  Plan to stay here again in the future. Only negative we could find was the parking as it was on street parking and unable to get a place near B&B due to being busy. 
Around a 10-15 min walk down hill into Whitby it’s self.

Charming B&B

Good location with street parking.5 minute walk to town centre.Breakfast is fresh ingredients and cooked to order - extra bonus - a free afternoon tea/ coffee and cake between 2 and 5pm.Room and bed was comfortable though TV a bit small so maybe bring an ipad !

Lovely B and B

Stayed a couple of nights here. Fab location, lovely house, really clean, warm and comfortable, superb value for money. Great breakfast, accommodating couple. Games and dvds available. Wished we'd booked for longer, we'll definitely come again thank you!

Perfect family break

What a lovely place this is, with the nicest owners you could ever wish to meet.The whole hotel is immaculately clean and fresh,nothing is too much trouble for our wonderful hosts. Breakfast was excellent and the free afternoon tea was lovely when we came back in the afternoon from being out all day as it is from 2-5, however it is a good job I don't live here permanently as the homemade cakes that come with afternoon tea are absolutely fabulous and I'd be the size of a house haha! Seriously though you could simply not go wrong staying here, it was lovely and quiet too as there are just three rooms and it is situated just a short walk out of the centre ( 5 mins ) so even though Whitby is at its busiest on these Goth weekends, we still had peace and quiet to come back to. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, this was our first break away in 18 + years and we were so glad that we stayed here. We did try to re book for April's Goth Weekend but they were already booked up, but we do hope to return one day. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Whitby Goth Weekend

Stayed two nights on 6-7 September, Our hosts Liza & Nigel were welcoming, helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable. Our room was spotless, comfy, had all the amenities, the little extras like big fluffy towels, shampoo, body wash, hairdryer and water & hot chocolate on your coffee tray. And the breakfast was amazing, hot, fresh, well presented and plentiful. Even will do a few extras like kippers if they know early enough to get them!! Cooks Quarters is literally a short stroll from most places, no taxi required! Would recommend this gem to anyone.

Fantastic 

Stayed here for a wedding. Really nice couple who run the place. Nice modern rooms. Really nice breakfast. Cooked to order which is nice. Great location and we managed to find on road parking right outside the front door.

Great place

Booked this on a recommendation of a friend for a couple of nights for my husband's birthday and wasn't disappointed.  Lovely big room, very clean, nicely decorated, plenty of storage.  Breakfast was ordered the night before but you could still ask for things off menu with notice. We also had no problem finding free of charge parking on the road just round the corner.  Very local to all the activities in Whitby and the bars, shops restaurants.  Also a nice touch they served tea/coffee and cake foc in the afternoon I think between 2-5.  Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.

Lovely Birthday Break

We stayed here for 4 nights while OH was walking The Cleveland Way.
It’s a great place.
Nice and close to the Centre.
The breakfasts are superb with plenty of choice.
The bedrooms are large and spacious with free WiFi and free bottled water. The hosts are friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to eat out.
A small complaint : I don’t mind mattress covers, but don’t like the ones with a plastic lining. The weather was warm and they tend to make you a bit sweaty.
But that’s my only criticism.
Highly recommend and would happily stay there again.

Excellent B&B

Very welcoming on arrival, and advised that free tea/coffee and cakes are available from 2 to 5 pm. The room was large, very well presented and clean and on both nights of our stay were left with bottles of water. We were lucky to be able to get a parking spot a few yards away, but I can see how it may be a pain if you can't, but it is the same in many places in Whitby. Just a five minute walk to the harbour. You pre order your breakfast, but be careful, if you order the full english, it is a real plate filler, and you may feel bad if you can't eat it all, so learned this for the second morning. It was excellent and piping hot. My only criticism would be the curtains in our room were a light colour and at 6am the room was very light, but as that was all to be faulted it had to get five stars.
