Could hear the boiling running all night, bathroom needs updating looks like something from the 80’s.  Bed uncomfortable.  
My wife had left her scarf and belt in the bedroom, you think those cleaning the bedroom would have handed it in, but not the case.  Very disappointing!  Over priced for a 3 star.  The Rose & Crown is much better!

Room and hotel ok at best very limited food on menu. Bathroom needs an urgent revamp. Breakfast is from 8 till 9 only.
Went down to there so called complimentary breakfast to be told there’s no cooked breakfast because it’s complimentary, it’s continental, there continental was coffee and cornflakes in an old Tupperware pot. Left at 0830 looking for somewhere to have breakfast.

Strange to say the least

Set in an authentic and period Tudor building, this venue boast charm and simplicity.  

A small 4ft door led into our warm, clean, smartly presented bedroom which was well received after a long day in the cold and wet.  Featuring a large TV, WiFi and en suite bathroom the room was everything we needed.

Located within the venue is Flamenco, an authentic Spanish restaurant.  The food here was superb and they're bar is pretty well stocked too, including some lovely Spanish wines!! 

Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast in an intimate and quiet restaurant.  Service is quick, hassle free and just makes for a relaxing start to the day!! 

As frequent travellers, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend and stay again.

My husband and I booked a 1 night stay here in September primarily because it is a beautiful Tudor style property. However later on reading some of the negative reviews we did try to get accommodation elsewhere but were unsuccessful. I'm now glad that we did stay. Yes the floor and bed were uneven but we didn't mind that. The continental breakfast we enjoyed. We didn't have dinner there as we weren't into the Spanish style menu but did have a drink in the bar before going to dinner else where and really liked the atmosphere. The chap at the bar, I think maybe the owner, was not very friendly but the young woman serving us was nice. She let me sample a couple of the wines before deciding on 1. I do feel the Spanish theme that they appear to be introducing is out of place. My suggestion would be to go with the traditional Tudor style. Our room was at the front of the building so we could hear some traffic noise but were able to close the windows. However it was a very warm room so I think in summer you would need the windows open. The only thing that bothered me about the room was that there were no mirrors for blow drying my hair and applying make up. There was a mirror in the bathroom, not that I could blow dry or straighten my hair in there, but it was a brown/amber colour. Not sure what that is about but definitely not suitable for applying makeup. A few minor negatives that didn't really bother us, all in all we enjoyed our stay and took a lot of photos to remember it.

Old World Charm

I was in the area and came back for a wellcome drink and while away the time in Warwick. Extensive menu with friendly staff. I shall come back for a meal later. to try the steak. Warwick has so much to offer and the hotel is a must go to place

We loved our room, it was cosy comfortable and really fit the theme of old time Warwick. loved Warwick in general lots of things to do!  thought 99% of the staff at the hotel couldn’t do more to help you. Unfortunately one of the lads who checked us out felt like to us he couldn’t be bothered, didn’t tell us hotel (including the restaurant)  closed at 6 pm on a Sunday so when we went to collect our suitcase no one was in and we no longer had keys. Almost missed our train if it wasn’t for a lovely lady (mum of the manager I believe) who rushed to our rescue, got our bags and then dropped as at the train station so we managed to get there in time! Will definitely go back.

Staff are amazing

I had a problem with my room, because booking.com cancelled it - so I don't recommend that website. However, I called the hotel on Saturday and only had a response on the Monday of the day I was staying. I'd already sorted by re-booking by same website.

I wasn't aware the bar and restaurant were shut on a Monday night (like other places very nearby as it turns out). I had a meal pre-booked elsewhere, but would have loved a glass of wine or cava. The place looks like it is really making an effort with a Spanish inspired menu, and some atmospheric looking fireplaces, suits of armour etc.

The parking is very limited 3/4 cars, but the street parking is free from 8pm to 8am.

But I found my single room, with shared bathroom (I did know about this in advance) underwhelming and needing some modernisation.  I left before breakfast, but it was served between 8-9am - quite tight time limit.

So, I won't be back for the room. But may consider trying out the restaurant on another occasion.

I get the impression the owners/managers are trying to give this place an identity, and I wish them success.

Wanted this to be better to rest my head

We stayed at the Tudor House recently, when we arrived it was early so we only wanted to park the car and go off into Warwick. The receptionist told us our room hadn't been used the night before so we could check in. we were told there would be someone there  until around 10:00 am but after that there would be no one on site until around 15:00. the hotel was very dark due to there being only emergency lighting, not an inviting place to relax and read a paper etc. we had booked the fourposter room, the room was dominated by the bed with only a small space to move around the room however is was clean and comfortable. we arrived back a the hotel around 16:00 and had a drink at the bar. we discovered that the bar /restaurant was Spanish themed and decided to eat there that evening. Lovely Spanish food and wine and a very good price.
If you are staying here make sure you have a good meal the night before as continental breakfast consists of cereal, toast, fruit juice and yogurt. Not a lot of choice for the hungry traveler. I personally would not stay there again due to no day time staff on premises,lack of lighting in public places and the meager breakfast.We would however come and eat in the restaurant.

Popped in for a drink with friends. So expensive we thought they'd made an error with the bill (£8 for a single shot of Malibu). When we questioned it the barman's idea of good customer service was a somewhat apathetic, 'Those are the prices mate I'm not going to change them'. The location is pretty much opposite the entrance to Warwick castle so it's convenient. If not for the heat from the fire (log fire in June?), the prices and the barman being rude, it would've been a pleasant experience. No excuse for bad customer service. The price is the price, fair enough but the way you talk to your customers plays a big role in the quality of their experience.

What a shame

A lovely 14th century old hotel clean rooms and comfortable, the attendant on the desk was on his phone when ever we went down stairs which is not a great look but he was pleasant and friendly 
It’s under new ownership and is Spanish style food/liquor now
