Just spent an amazing week at this beautiful cottage supported by wonderful host. Sarah and her family (including the family dog), were warm and friendly and a pleasure to meet. They were on hand if needed and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is situated in a lovely village perfect for exploring the local area. The cottage was extremely clean and well presented and had everything we needed. We felt at home and relaxed from the moment we arrived. We would highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone wishing to stay near Stratford Upon Avon. Thanks Sarah and your family for your kindness, consideration and hospitality. We will definitely return.

Arrived at this filthy dump ,to find we could never spend a week in it. We told the owner it wasn’t suitable & she refused to refund any of the £500 we’d already paid her. She then said she would clean it which should have already been done. When we told her that was not acceptable she then said she would refund 30% if we left immediately. I refused to leave withought more than 30% refund as when booking, I was led to believe it had a 4 star rating, which no way could have been, as apart from being in a filthy condition the Armchair was threadbare & there were only 2 Bath & 2 Hand Towels between 3 of us which looked more like Doggy Towels & to cap it all she wanted a £250 damage deposit plus £25 for Bedding for the Sofa. When we said the refund she offered was unacceptable she then called the Police hoping they would evict us, but on seeing the state of it instead advised her to refund us much more, so finally she agreed to offer us £400 which we cut our losses to end the matter & find alternative accommodation, She then stalled in giving us the money and eventually paid us at 10:30pm knowing by then it was too late to find alternative accommodation, hence we tried several Travel Lodges, Holiday Inns etc, with 24 hour reception & check ins, but being so late & such short notice we were unsuccessful so had to do around a 200 miles drive home arriving home around 5:00 am. Not the best cure for us  both in our 70s & a disabled Son. It was a horrendous experience Like a nightmare one could not waken from.

Holiday from HELL !

House was easy to find and in a beautiful, quiet location. Inside and out were clean and well presented. Sarah is incredibly friendly and approachable. Everything inside was spot on and I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for providing my girlfriend and I with lovely accomadtion!

Fantastic

Unfortunately we were expecting to stay in a B&B ,not a double room with an ensuite.
Not to say the room wasn't adequate and Sarah,the owner,was very welcoming.
Parking and Wi Fi both free.We also expected a full breakfast as per our Accomodation Voucher but Sarah explained that she doesn't provide a cooked Breakfast.But did provide us with Fruit,Cereal,Croissants etc!And ham and cheese.Tea and Coffee facilities and bar fridge also included.
Nice quiet location with easy walk to Local Pubs for Dinner etc,
Only complaint ,the shower recess was a wee bit mouldy!! Not a good look really!!

Well located just 4 miles from Stratford upon Avon

My family of 3 enjoyed so much during our stay.
Conveniently located near to the town of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Cottage was well equipped and had all the needs to make it feel just like home.
Friendly and very helpful owners..(thanks for the dvds )
