We stayed two nights and were delighted with the location and accommodations. Hosts Phillip and Leila are a young couple doing everything well. The optional evening meal prepared by chef Leila was outstanding. The view from the patio outside the room was tremendous.

Remote and great

We spent two nights at Kalliope at the end of March and had a very enjoyable weekend.
The guest rooms have a great view over towards the Isle of May. The room was very comfortable and the food - two breakfasts and an evening meal - was excellent. The house is in a very peaceful location just outside the picturesque village of Crail.The hosts, Philip and Leila are very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely recommend this B & B.

Highly recommended

My husband Kevin booked 4 nights at Kalliope house in August 2017, the 10th-13th sight unseen and without any particular recommendations, but we feel so lucky and blessed with our stay! Phillip and Leila couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Just really salt of the earth folk. We stayed in the Selene room and enjoyed the many amenities, including the sauna and lounge right next door. All of the food, including our specially prepared dinner one night, was just amazing (Greek). Hope to go back sometime! It's a very short and pleasant walk along a groomed trail/ road into town. Relaxing and lovely

We were lucky to stay two nights at this superb BnB . Philip and Leila are extraordinary hosts , they are a great team: informative, knowledgeable and super friendly. Philip provided us with all the formation needed about the area, gave us the map of local trails and i had fun exploring, walking, my favorite food is Greek, and Leila cooked us a full course dinner , appetizer, entree, main course and desert ! This girl can cook ! Inn is spotless clean, pool was sparkling, sauna hot... and conversation interesting and lovely. This was the perfect ending to our 3 weeks Scotland tour and if we ever back , we will no doubt stay at Kalliope B&B.

Excellence in every detail !

I stayed at the Kalliope B & B for two nights which was a great stay, the rooms are spotless and have great  sea views, my room had an outside seating area which was a great option on a warm evening, breakfast is also fantastic with great and unusual options. There are only three rooms so it's nice and quiet. Dinner is also available which makes this establishment a great venue for small groups of up to 6 which means you will have the place to yourself, unusual facilities for a three bedroom B & B are a sauna and a swimming pools,the fact that you are only a short drive from Saint Andrews is also a bonus.
All in all a great stay and I look forward to another visit.
