Lovely little hotel. Owners made us feel really welcome. Recommended places for us to eat in the evenings. More than measured up to our expectations. A few key points spotless bedrooms, fantastic choice at breakfast, great location. Will definitely return next time we go to Goodwood

Little gem

Went for daughter's wedding. The hosts were so professional and yet the personal side was above any expectations. made us feel very welcome. Spotless room, facilities so much character. Breakfast amazing fresh produce right through. Fantastic stay thankyou so much we will be back again xxx

AMAZING 😍

Wonderful B&B. Staff really friendly, nothing was too much for them. We had a great breakfast both mornings. Plenty of parking, Lovely location with views over the South Downs National Park.
The bed was really comfortable too along with Tea, Coffee and biscuits in the room.  The shower was nice and hot. Unfortunately, we did not use the well stocked bar. We would definitely return here.

Welcome stop over after a long day shopping in Brighton.
Top tip - Room 6 is on the ground floor and near the road. It was quite noisy but not enough to disturb you unless you are a light sleeper

Warm,welcoming and friendly.This hotel is in a great spot and the owners are wonderful.Easy walk to station or to the main road and the bus stops.Longer walk to Garden centre and White Hart pub on the river by the old scenic stone bridge.Big Tesco store couple of minutes walk away.

GREAT LONG WEEKEND .GREAT PEOPLE,SERVICE AND VIEWS

This is a small B&B with 12 rooms...good value in a central South Downs explore area away from the suburban coast.

The breakfast is one of the best we have had served by a delightful lady.

When we arrived you step onto a worn out mat and I thought "oh no" we have have made a mistake but from then on everything was fine.....first impressions are so important! The lights in the lounge should also be on?

No dinner but a list is provided ..avoid the Italian and the one in town go for the White Hart outside overlooking a 15th century  bridge.

Not a Hotel but great B&B

John was fantasticly friendly and helpful. Lovely room. Mattress and pillows super comfortable: slept really well. Superb shower and great breakfast, which was cooked to perfection. Great location. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

SUPERB! Highly recommend

We got stranded in Pulborough due to car problems and a train strike preventing us from getting home. Luckily the Chequers had rooms available and were able to accommodate us for the night. We were given a double room with a four-poster bed which was very, very comfortable. The room was furnished with charming antique furniture. The floor was very squeaky, but only to be expected in such an old building.
Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were provided along with a couple of kit kat type bars. There was also a Nespresso machine with a couple of pods provided.
Plenty of long life milk pods too. (Premier Inn take note!).
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices.  I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. 

An unexpected but great stay

Came across this extremely fabulous hotel whilst I did a search for ( value accommodation in or around Pulborough) 
I booked for one night for me and my son. 
We were greeted by the owner who very kindly advised me where to park my large recovery truck.
It was an extremely cold night, but soon warmed up when we entered the hotel, so warm !!!! 
We were shown to our twin room, OUTSTANDING.  so comfortable and even warmer than the reception,  we had travelled a lot of miles,  so just wanted to relax and have a good sleep,  we certainly did !!! Breakfast was outstanding too, plenty of it, and fantastic quality of food. 
To sum up, fantastic hotel,  and excellent value for money.  
£79.00 for a twin room including a full English breakfast,  and free WiFi (stayed with my 15year old son) . 
Cheaper than the two local national favourites!!!!!!!.

Lovely B&B the owners are very nice and on hand to help Bed and room comfortable Breakfast is to die for could not fault ample parking on opposite side of road . We had the room overlooking the view
Only thing Shower could do with updating  apart from that LOVELY!!!!
