We visited for the santa experience and stayed in the 3 bed lodge as a family of 5. The lodge is very spacious and modern. Decorated beautifully for Christmas and was greeted for colouring things for my 2 year old and other things such as a cookie 💖 We visited santa on the Saturday and he was brilliant. The kids see santa in groups which turned out to be better for my son as he didn't want to sit with santa for a photo so don't think a 1:1 visit would work. All the activities and rides were brilliant for all ages even a 2yr old! We also visited the coach house om site (slightly expensive) but food and staff were lovely 😀 

My only criticism is the road markings and signs. It all needs repainting on the floor as we ended up driving down an exit only road due to very poor road markings. The road signs are impossible to see/read at night and a few times we found ourselves going in circles to find where we needed to be. And the map from the lodge to where we needed to go on the Saturday morning to collect our passes and see santa were hard to follow. 

Other than that we had an amazing weekend which we would happily repeat 💖

Had great time great rides and loads to do me and my kids loved it was busy and had half an hour wait for some rides but that expected but have been before where waiting times were longer would take pack lunch as some food outlets are expensive

We went to flamingoland on a family holiday staying for a week the accommodation was adequate for the 4 of us and we had a lovely time made all the better by getting to know some of the very lovely staff I'd like to say all of the staff are lovely but I just can't do that. I'd like to say the Adrian, Benjamin and Danny on the games were exceptional and made every visit to the games like Hook a duck, tin can ally and hook a bag worth every penny with their banter and wit and they were so great with the kids I can't say enough to show how much they did a great job. in the zoo bar by far the best member in there was Chelsea she was sweet chatty and an all round good member of staff I would quite happily hire her to serve in any bar and can't say enough about how great she was. In the arcade my son lost his card and Kevin one of the supervisors made it so that nothing was lost and made sure my son had nearly everything he had lost.
All in all the 5 members I have mentioned made the entire stay worth the hassle we had. They are the very best of the best and hope to see them next time we stay there as without them I don't think we would have enjoyed our stay as much as we did

Had a day here with my son’s, expected to wait in long queues for the rides but were not too bad.The park was a little untidy , probably short staffed as there didn’t seem to be many around.But even with litter around it did not spoil a good day.Food a little pricey but same everywhere now.

Stayed in dog friendly caravan at 117 Hawthorn. Great location, a stone’s throw from the main park. Caravan was clean and spacious. Nice having an en-suite with a bath. Facilities excellent and really enjoyed the swimming, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Entertainment at night was excellent. We have stayed elsewhere and visited the park but staying on site was a game changer. Boys loved going in and out the park when they liked. Visited the zoo on a few occasions.

Our dog enjoyed the golf course for his morning walks and it was great having him and and out the main park throughout the day.

A great family holiday and well worth the money. We even managed the new ride on Saturday despite checking out at 10am as we were allowed access to the park for the rest of that day.

Just home from our stay at flamingo land. Our 4 year old, 6 year old and ourselves had an amazing holiday. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, it was absolutely roasting hot our whole holiday. Plenty of kids rides however our youngest was still a little too small to get on a lot of them. She adored the Peter rabbit world though and met the characters 3 times without the holiday. Ques were short, we weren’t waiting any more than a few minutes to get on anything so that kept the kids happy. 

Food was a little expensive at places but it’s to be expected at a place like that. We were a little disappointed that some restaurant’s/ bar’s didn’t open at all our whole stay (not sure if this is because it isn’t quite peak season yet). Gormet grill opened on the last night of our holiday so decided to try it. Food was lovely and was very reasonably priced so I recommend to try it when visiting flamingo land. We ate out of fortune2go (Chinese takeaway) a few times and the man working there is lovely. He was always very friendly and polite so special mention to him. 

Arcades were fun however it was difficult to find someone when money got stuck in the machines. Feel like they were maybe a little short staffed. 

The kids were desperate to do the teddy mountain (make a bear) and although there was plenty of options of bears and I genuinely think this is an amazing bonus to the park, the woman who assisted us with it was awful. She didn’t make it fun or interesting for the kids. She was in a rush to get us out and before the kids had even stuffed their bears she was forcing the certificates and bags on them. Whole experience in there was really rushed and kids didn’t get to enjoy it as they should have. Was really disappointed with this as it costs a lot of money. From personal experience working in this department of work I feel it should be made fun and exciting not boring and rushed. We made the bears on Thursday the 23rd of June at 10am but honestly think we would have been better saving the money and taking them to build a bear when we got home. This was nothing to do with the bears or outfits etc, was just down to the staff. 

We also wanted to give a special mention to the older man who works in the main gift shop and the Dino gift shop. Sure his name was Jim, he is lovely and would always say good morning and chat away to us. 

Park was always clean and tidy and most of the staff we encountered were pleasant. Kids also loved the outdoor splash zone down at the pool. Feel like more people should know about it as it’s great for the kids. 

Over all we had a really good holiday at flamingo land and will hopefully come back at some point.

We spent a glorious day here last week and we didnt quite fit everything in The! The price paid for tickets online is amazing value.
The animals are obviously well cared for. We were fortunate enough to see so many happy creatures out and about enjoying the sunshine.
We met lovely, friendly staff whom were happy to tell put children plenty about the animals we encountered.
Plenty to see and do.
The rides were brilliant. Unfortunately a fair few were out of action during our visit but I suppose that is bound to happen from time to time, especially during the busier seasons.

Would definitely visit here again.

We booked as a family of 5 to go for 5 days here ,our 7th visit but the first in April ,it was much better in our opinion.The weather when we arrived wasn't great it was incredibly cold ,but to be expected in England in April .We had booked a private caravan for our stay ,we arrived earlier than expected and messaged the owner who had advised the caravan was ready so we could go in it as soon as passes where purchased, the lodge that we checked in to at the entrance was so cold waiting but the lady who checked us in was really apologetic for the delay and so friendly .We got to the caravan in Beech and it was so lovely had everything we needed and more .We went swimming which we booked a week before ,its a great system in my opinion as it doesn't feel too cramped and I could swim without a ball slammed into me ,or a foot in my face like in summer .
When we got to the theme park the queues wjere averaging 15 minutes for the big rides ,this enabled our 3 older kids to access the big rides several times , the water ride was hit and miss opening,navigator was off, awaiting a part and flip flop wasn't running, I've been told both of these are up and running for summer, the new ride is coming on a treat and should be ready after testing in summer .
The zoo was amazing ,the cheetahs give an experience like no other,as they sit on the bonnet of the car and we can sit the other side of the glass
The sealion show was great but unfortunately a small minority spoilt it leaving their rubbish when announcements said its dangerous to the sealions if it gets in the water. Bins are arms length from the seats just really bad behaviour from adults who should know better .We went to the club at 8 every night and managed to get a seat no problem and I have to say the acts at FL are much better than what we've seen at other holiday parks in the past ,considering its not a chain .
We had a blast ,the eating places are ok but we mostly ate in , metropolis could do with more staff training though after being ignored by what we assume was a manager and then being told their wasn't a tuna salad available on good Friday , this spoilt our eating experience and we won't return back there, however we won't hesitate to return in August for our weekend break to FL we love it here, it's my happy place .

1st camping trip of the year for us and we had a fantastic time, camping facilities excellent.  The site was quiet as local schools hadn’t yet broken up so very few queues for any of the rides.  Compared to our visit last year when there were large queues and problems with many of the rides (understandable as it had just re-opened following lock down) this visit was 100% better.  Most of the rides were open and staff were busy getting other parts of the site ready for opening I presume ready for peak season.  All staff were fantastic, they couldn’t have been more helpful and enthusiastic.  If you had a bad experience with Flamingo Land last year don’t let it put you off, give it another go I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

What a beautiful park with friendly staff and clean facilities! 

Myself, partner and 14 month old son had a great day at Flamingo Land. It was a quiet day which allowed our son to toddle about which he loved. He was too small for the baby rides but thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the animal and taking in the beautiful surroundings. 

Food options were limited, but we look forwards to visiting the stalls in the summer time. 

The childrens play area is fantastic, great way to tire the munchkins before the drive home!

Santa experience 2023

Lodge accommodation.
Pros. 
Spacious open living areas.
Comfortable  beds
Powerful showers with lots of hot water

Cons. 
Very uncomfortable  dining  chairs (need repadding)
Limited cooking utensils.
2nd and 3rd bedrooms are very tight for space.

We were a family of 3 generations consisting of 4 adults and a toddler.
Very quiet time to visit which was perfect for us.
Managed to see most of the animals and our grandson  loved the kiddy rides. 
Food outlets were varied and priced well.
Customer  services were excellent. 

Thoroughly  enjoyed our visit.



Redwood  Lodge

Had another great time here.
There were a few things that could be improved. We came Mon 14th for a week but actually left 2 days early as we were so board at night.
There was no entertainment in the pitchers club or Riverside one so our only option was the zoo bar which was so busy you had to get there for 6pm just to get a seat. We didn't have small kids only teens so the kids entertainment did not appeal to any of us. Last year at Riverside they had a singer on most nights and then they had things like ABBA tribute in club at Pitchers. Also more use could be made at night of the outside stage area. As well as in the day. Maintenance needs doing in some parts of the park also. However saying that the Zoo is amazing and you can see all the animals are well cared for with fantastic enclosures the sealion and bird shows are a bonus we seen these last year but were just as entertaining this year. I do think people staying at resort should be able to use rides later maybe until 8pm on light nights but there is no benefit to staying on the resort like we had in Alton towers. Staff were all lovely and always helpful.  
We loved swimming and the slides and for families with smaller kids the splash area and kids area of the pool were good. 
Maybe would like to see a bigger pool but it wasn't a major issue. Maybe also outdoor activities. They had climb wall  previously but this has now gone. Maybe by the leisure centre is have outdoor areas like they have in Haven, raised walkways with zip wires ect , bouncy castles, crazy golf things like that for the resort guests. Previously seen reviews saying it is not clean, however I found the park very clean and tidy. The fair has something for everyone we had a party made up of some adrenaline junkies who loved SIK, Kamali, velocity ect and then some who are not fans of rides that could go on things like pirate ship,  runaway train ect so something for everyone in our party. We have been here 2 years in so row so probably won't be back next year as need something different but if we do return in couple years I would expect to see some of my suggestions to see an improvement.

We just got home from a week camping at flamingo land resort and have to say we were slightly disappointed by the whole experience. We paid £700 for 7 nights on the early bird offer for a camping pitch with electric. I hate to imagine how much people are paying to stay in the static caravans at that time of year. Anyway we though having access to the park everyday would easily out weigh the price because we wouldn't leave the site to have to entertain the kids. 
Check in - slooooow!!! So very very slow.
Camp site - generally pretty clean, they do have security walking round occasionally, but what they actually do I have no idea, they certainly don't ask campers to keep any noise down at any time of the night or keep the site safe from rubbish and empty glass alcohol bottles that campers leave lying around. 
The site can be noisy at night. Really noisy, groups with loud music and singing, drinking and smoking weed (pretty much any time of day for that one!) 
Camp site toilets - There are 3 toilet blocks in the main camping field, all different with different levels of cleanliness. Every block has a sign saying male cleaner on duty, 🤣🤣 I don't know where he was because the toilets certainly we're not cleaned every day, toilet paper was replenished maybe once a day, but I saw the toilets we used in what I would consider a freshly cleaned state once in 8 days. 
Swimming - Good swimming pool facilities, with nice long opening hours. 
Theme park - first impressions were good but slowly dwindled. The rides are often closed, one didn't open all week, one of the bigger rides was open the day we arrived one random day in the middle of the week then closed again the the rest of our stay. Rides should open at 10am but we're often not open till around 1pm because of the daily checks etc. Because we were there a week we did get to go on everything we wanted to over the week but I am sure lots of day visitors are disappointed. The problem is when the big ride close it makes the other queues really long.
We found some other park visitors to just be out right rude. People would push and walk right into you to get on a ride you were trying to leave (the smaller kids rides) try and queue jump to get to their friends half way down the queue line and at times just push you out their way (In the evening entertainment I picked my bag up off my chair as I turned to sit on it another guest shoved her coat and bag on the chair, I almost sat on her hand!) 
Food - any take away outlets are slow! There is just no flow to the service, they also advertise offers on the big screens that they then don't actually offer when you get to that outlet. Very misleading. Food is expensive, but that's expected. The Chinese do a decent meal.
Zoo - The zoo, animals and it's staff are the  redeeming feature of the resort. My 2 kids did the zoo ranger activity the 3 days it was available and loved it. We watched the bird show 3 times and saw different birds each time and watched the sea lion show twice and got different info each time. The animal talks and feeding are great and the keepers always stick around to answer any questions etc, they are all so friendly and really engage with visitors. 
Overall, we probably wouldn't visit again in a hurry.
