Everything was first class. The room. The breakfast. The location and of course Jo the host. I was In contact with Jo a few days ahead of our visit with some questions which she got straight back to me on. The products in the bathroom were locally made and were a nice touch

Well located within easy walking distance of Lymington High Street. Free car parking at the front of the B&B. Nice welcome, easy check in, clean comfortable room at a competitive price. Tasty English breakfast available in the morning. A good one night stay.

Comfortable and Clean

Second stay at Durlston House. This time, we brought our dog with us. All of us were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay although sadly we were only in Lymington for one night. We arrived early and were able to make use of the free parking whilst we walked the very short distance into town which was brilliant. Our room and en-suite was spotless, the hot breakfast was just delicious, high quality and lots of options of juices and cereal. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this to anyone and will definitely return for another stay.

Excellent Lymington B&B

Durlston House is a really nice B&B. Conveniently situated for both road and railway, the B&B was very clean, comfortable with great facilities. Jo, our host was very welcoming and informative. She made us feel very welcome. Her English breakfast was great!

Great stay at Durlston House

Booked about an hour before arrival. The host Jo was very welcoming to her lovely accomodation. 
Great price for room and breakfast which was plentiful.
Perfect location only 5 mins walk to town. Highly recommend 

Perfect in every way

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in Durlston House. Ideal location, good sized room with comfortable bed and good breakfasts.

Only a short walk from the town centre and similar from the train station or ferry terminal.  Ideal for a short stay or weekend.

We love Lymington which has great pubs and restaurants serving excellent food. The taxi service was amazing - something other towns should be emulating!

An ideal B&B in a beautiful seaside town.

We had a very pleasant weekend stay at Durlston House and would recommend this B&B guest house.    A delightful breakfast room with all lovely objet d'art/decorations.    Breakfast superb and well-presented.   Extremely helpful owner.   Always difficult to find good accommodation in this sought-after area!

A most comfortable stay - recommended

We stayed at Durlston House for a week in late June. This was one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. The breakfasts that we were given were of the very highest standards. Rooms were bright and airy.
Do not have any doubts about staying here, you will not be disappointed.

Great B& B

Durlston House is in a good location, you can walk to the shops and restaurants. Being able to park on site is a big bonus. The breakfast was just wonderful and could not have been better. Dinning room a little cramped for my liking....but that is me being fussy, I like to be able to talk without everyone listening in. Maybe a radio or news station playing in the background would have alleviated this.  The room and en-suite were clean but very small.  My expectation from the pictures maybe why, I thought it would be a bit more spacious. Staff were friendly. No real issue - not a bad place for a 1 night stay - was it worth £100? IMO not really. Would I stay there again? probably not. Would I avoid it at all costs - No.

Some positives and some negatives.

Jo was amazing, very friendly, nothing was too much trouble when asking for help or just wanting extras. The room was so clean and tidied every day.
Superb breakfast.  Great location. Wow, wow,wow. Would definitely recommend.
Dogs welcome and treated like a family member.
