Me and my partner stayed here on our weekend break in London. The hotel itself is nice, the staff are very accommodating and have the covid situation nicely organised. The rooms were clean and nice and we would definitely stay again.

Great Value

This hotel is very well placed for visiting Central London and if you don't want to walk there are 2 tube stations close by as well as many bus stops. My room was very clean and comfortable and quiet.Breakfast was very good also. 
All the staff who I had contact with were very helpful and made me feel welcome. In particular I would like to mention Mohamad who was the Duty Manager on reception. He was extremely polite and most helpful with a very great smile for all the guests. I would also congratulate the staff who were on breakfast duty, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Good Hotel with excellent staff.

Our stay here was lovely, management at this hotel took great care of all our needs, such as when a portable radiant heater was delivered to the room on a chilly evening without even requesting it. We had some laundry needs which were fulfilled in less than 24 hours. Housekeeping checked with us several times to assure we were satisfied with service. Spotless all around!  Mattresses were firm and very comfortable and duvet snug and warm. We found the room quiet, we knew we had neighbors by encountering them in hall but there was no extraneous noise  such as TV noise from adjacent room. Our only issue was the height of the bath tub, be warned it seems to be about three feet high, so if your knees are as orthopedically challenged as mine, it takes some maneuvering to get in/out. The restaurant does serve fish & chips but if you're looking for full-on deep fried heaven, seek another source, these were good but the fish seemed to be breaded and baked, but still very acceptable. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. We will stay here again.

Great stay, highly recommend

We booked just one night as we had tickets that night at the Royal Albert Hall. Booking in was very easy with personnel both polite and helpful. Our room was on the forth floor facing the front of the Hotel. Room was very clean with single and double bed plus shower in bathroom. Plenty of both Tea and coffee available as well. slept well that night though the floor did creak slightly so felt sorry for anyone in room under ours. Did not have to book out until 12:00 next day. We did not have breakfast following morning so cant pass comment. Booking out again very easy. Would strongly recommend staying here again to both friends and family. Two tube stations within five minutes walk and Hyde part just across the road.

Very nice stay

This is an Excellent hotel. Especially for the price paid. I have stayed in 4/5 star hotels paying twice or 3 times the cost of a nights stay, at the Lancaster gate hotel and not had such good accommodation or service.

All the rooms are classed as 'standard', But they should be described as 'deluxe'. The bathroom has a bath/shower, hairdryer, soap & shampoo. The bedroom has Tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, safe, trouser press & ironing board complete with iron. Nice large comfy bed. The hotel has a  good restaurant and the staff are fantastic and very helpful.

Very clean and smart hotel, located 1 mins walk from Hyde Park and 5 mins from Lancaster Gate Underground.



Excellent Hotel with Very Good Location. VERY good value

Great location to anyone who doesn’t mind a nice walk or subway trip, opposite Hyde Park, down the road from Marble Arch and Notting Hill Area 
This was an old military hotel called Douglas House way back when, so rooms a compact. It’s been nicely renovated and has a nice bar and small restaurant. Not a gourmet full service menu but ok burgers and lite fair.

I am reviewing Lancaster Gate hotel.
Lots of negative reviews refer to some dodgy apartment rental with similar name and or address.

Totally satisfied with this hotel. Great staff.
Nice super clean well appointed room.

Didn’t bother with breakfast so can’t say.
A double room at 105£ was a bargain and I would return in a heartbeat. Great rate.

I think management should pry into trip advisor and negate / erase horrible reviews that do not concern the hotel and ruin its aggregate rating. Because it is a really nice hotel with earnest staff.

Stayed here purely because of the location. We were Going to a concert in Hyde park so it was an ideal place to stay. Friendly/helpful Reception staff. Room was clean but small and basic. Bed was very comfortable. Would we stay again? Yes I think we would

Great location, served its purpose 

Breakfast was very good and a good selection of fresh fruit, cereals, hot and cold buffet with plenty of tea and coffee. A very good experience with very polite staff. Reception staff were also very good, polite and greeted us by name. The room was a good size at the rear of the hotel which was nice and quiet with a lovely bathroom which was also nice and clean with an excellent power shower. The staff overall were excellent, Well Done Lancaster Gate.

Great Hotel, Excellent Location

Stayed here overnight due to it’s convenient location to the Royal Albert Hall.  Staff were friendly and we had a very warm welcome.  Cases were left in a secure place as we were far to early to enter our room.    
Room was ok, little on the small side ,but was adequate for a one nights stay , bathroom was ok again small..  decor looked a little tired.  Tea and coffee facilities were available.
Breakfast was a little hectic, all at were full and we had to queue for about 10 -15 minutes before we were called in. Plenty of choice to eat.
Would stay here again, so convenient to the west end to all the shops , museums etc.
