Wanted somewhere near to Terminal 5 to give a stress-free start to our holiday by staying the night before. So glad we opted for Thistle. Good price for the night and 8 days parking. The staff were professionally friendly and supportive in answering questions before arrival - and you could actually get through on the phone! Very easy to park on site. The weather was fantastic so we were able to make the most of the terrace which overlooks the runways and it was fascinating watching the flights come in. We enjoyed an evening meal which was extremely good value for money, and the bright restaurant setting was great - again over-looking T5. We sat out again the next morning before it was time to get the POD to T5. It was sooo relaxed and hysterical - felt like we were on a Peppa Pig ride! Coming back was totally stress-free too! We had an excellent stay in every way - bed comfortable, no noise from T5 - yes the room was a bit dated and not the biggest, but spotlessly clean and the fact there were areas in the hotel you could utilise and enjoy meant that we were hardly in our room at all. Thanks Terminal 5 Team Thistle. We will return!
