Booked fairly last minute for a long weekend away. Simon (host) gave a curtesy call before hand with useful information and greeted us in as soon as we arrived (quite late due to finishing work and diversions). Simon is a wonderful gentleman! Could not have been nicer! The room was very spacious and the views the next morning was beautiful. The bathroom was cold underfoot but it served the purpose. Now the breakfast!! Well... if we didn’t have plans then we could have sat and ate it all day! Plenty to choose from and nothing was ever too much trouble. Overall it’s a super little place to bed down and run by a great host! Definitely would recommend and would love to return soon! Thank you Simon

A cosy little place

Lovely place to stay with beautiful views. The hosts are welcoming and friendly and the room was comfortable and spacious. Great breakfast too. Would definitely recommend  we will be coming back soon for another stay.

Lovely Guesthouse

This is definitely a case of "don't judge a book by its covers" - on arriving at the property it looks a little "tired" and you could be forgiven for being worried -Don't be!! The room we had was spacious, clean and well-equipped with delightful views over the countryside towards Aberystwith. Simon (the host) was charming and very welcoming. The Breakfast Room was well-equipped and well laid out - breakfast was excellent and Simon couldn't have been more accommodating.
The only initial concern on entering the room for us was having a "Jack and Jill" bathroom facility with the next guest room, but as there was no-one else staying at the same time as us it wasn't any problem at all - all in all we would be happy to visit again.

Pleasant Stay

My wife and myself stayed here for one night for my wife’s birthday, on arrival the owner, Simon came out to meet us, showed us to our room and went over a couple of things. The room was nice and spacious. Simon recommended somewhere to eat which was unfortunately very busy. The breakfast was fantastic with ample portions to start the day. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked to stay again later in the year. I must also say that our pet dog was made to feel very welcome. 

Fantastic Location! 

Nice views. Lovely hosts. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Fast speed WiFi. A drink on the terrace not to be missed. Commanding views of the valley and the bay. Was a bit hot weather but still enjoying stay. 

Lovely hidden place

My husband and I stayed here and the whole experience was wonderful. The host Simon was so welcoming and their
B&B was like a visit to friends.views were awesome and we enjoyed our stay so much  returning in a weeks time :)

Just wonderful

Simon and Shirley are very welcoming greeting us at car and showing us around. We had read some reviews before we went and think some reviewers are very short sighted.
The bedroom was clean and tidy, the bathroom has a saniflow system only makes a noise when in use so how it kept one reviewer awake is a mystery unless they left taps on all night. The shower is the best one I have every had in a budget B&B. The breakfast was excellent and could not be faulted (even top class chefs use microwaves these days) and nothing was too much trouble in changing breakfast items. The views from our room and the breakfast room are stunning. We stayed for a week and Simon recomended several places to visit and we enjoyed the whole stay. We were even invited to have a glass of wine with Simon and Shirley on our last night which was lovely. Will be going back without doubt.
