84 reviewsA colleague and I arrived to find we were not correctly booked in to the Hotel. Jill was the lady that got it all sorted for us to stay at the Lodge. First impression was how clean and tidy the reception area was, this theme continued throughout the location. The room was massive and the bed super comfy. The Bistro stopped serving at 5pm so Jill & Terry recommended a walk down to South Road as there is a lot of restaurants to choose from. My colleague and I had a good walk around the local area and it was very nice and the locals were friendly and very chatty. Back at the Hotel we spent some time in the onsite Gym which was full of top quality exercise machines. After a shower we hit the Bar. I absolutely loved my time at this Hotel and a lot of it was down to Jill & Terry who really went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and at home. I feel a lot of Hotel chains could learn a thing or two from Jill & Terry who fully understand the meaning of “Customer Service”. Thank you both.
