One of the best B and Bs we have ever been to.  Immaculate throughout, very friendly, great breakfast, 5 stars really does not do it justice.  Well placed for a visit to the Cotswolds, the only downside is tht it's on a main road but you really don't notice, it's so lovely.  Do go.

Exceptional

This is an amazing place to stay…you feel truly welcome and nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful lady Wendy  who owns it. The house is beautiful and each room is different but they are  equally as stylish as each other! Wendy provides home made cake after 4 ( which is check in time )and these change daily! We ordered the full English breakfast on the first day which was truly delicious but extremely large so we ordered less on day two! Everything at The Old School is top quality..the food, beds, amenities in room, bed linens but more than this…you’ll never want to leave!

Simply the Best!

My partner and I spent a long weekend at the Old School and what an absolute gem this place is. We were warmly welcomed by Wendy, the owner, who from the start was charming, friendly and  could not do enough for us. The room was spacious,  immaculate, clean, and worth every penny. 
Wendy's team were also very welcoming providing great food and hospitality. Unfortunately, due to recent surgery, my partner had a restricted diet and they were all so accommodating, remembering everything and putting her instantly at ease. 
We cannot recommend Wendy and her team at the Old School highly enough. Thank you so much, Wendy, and we will be returning very shortly.

An absolute gem

The Old School is outstanding in every respect. 

We have stayed here a number of times in the past, but never tire of the superb accommodation, wonderful breakfasts and the friendliness of Wendy and her dedicated Team.

The rooms are spotless with comfy beds and numerous personal touches ,that make all the difference when staying away from home.

The choice at breakfast is "second to none" and always cooked to perfection.

If you decide to choose the Old School, you will not be disappointed.

Outstanding Bed and Breakfast

I stayed here with my girlfriend in May 2021. Wendy is an amazingly thoughtful, helpful and empathetic host, and this is actually our second stay having spent some time here last summer.

It is the perfect base to explore the cotswolds, and Wendy's suggestions were always brilliant. Excellent rooms, amenities and a very very tasty breakfast with loads of home-cooked comforts.

Outstanding service, food and ambience

Just arrived home following our visit to the Old School Little Compton near  Moreton on the Marsh and felt I had to put pen to paper.  Were the proprietor Wendy ever to go on the TV show Four in a Bed she would win it hands down!
We had a two night stay booked and from start to finish we were welcomed and well catered for.  On our arrival we were made tea/coffee, given home-made cake and offered the most exceptionally beautiful room to take it in (see photographs).  This was to be offered and enjoyed by us every afternoon. Our bedroom was equally lovely, extremely clean and well decorated to a high standard as was everywhere in the property and we were given as standard a good choice of tea/coffee biscuits, water and other goodies along the lines of a classy hotel (of which we have stayed in many).  This lovely B & B is better than any we have stayed in and Wendy our hostess was warm and helpful.  All of her staff were efficient and obliging.  Breakfast was a delight too offering a wide choice of cereals, nuts, fruit etc followed by a main cooked choice which is what you want with any B & B.  Nothing was too much trouble! Cannot fault the place and would recommend most highly.

I can not compliment  this wonderful  place highly enough. Excellent  service, magical venue, first class amenities and a lovely  welcoming host. I did not want to leave! Each room is stunning, and the decor is second to none....absolutely outstanding all round

OUTSTANDING

I stayed with my husband in Kingham this visit. Wendy has a real flair for colour & this room did not disappoint. A large comfortable room with a deluxe shower. Due to Covid restrictions there are a few changes but it still feels like home & the welcome we always receive from Wendy is lovely.
We have already booked to go back next year & are looking forward to staying in this beautifully run B&B.

A pleasure to stay here......as always

We stayed at The Old School B&B for three nights over the weekend. I've stayed a few times before and it's always fantastic. Wendy is so welcoming and makes everyone feel at home. The weather was very awful during our stay, but we were very happy relaxing in the B&B sitting by the fire playing games. Wendy cooks the most amazing breakfasts as well. Would recommend The Old School to anyone thinking about visiting the Cotswolds. We will definitely be returning. Thanks, Wendy!

Another amazing visit!

We stayed with the lovely Wendy at the Old School House for a nice chilled out weekend, ideally placed for visiting all the pretty cotswold villages, absolutely stunning.   A lovely warm cosy house, welcoming and fabulous decor, very beautiful lounge and the comfiest beds i have ever slept in, tea and cake in the afternoon was an absolute winner (carrot cake was amazing and my absolute favorite) sitting in the garden watching the chickens and ducks just doing their thing.  So much choice at breakfast time, tea and coffee in the bedrooms, biscuits and treats, lovely bathroom, a perfect weekend getaway, lots of local knowledge, Wendy even booked a restaurant for dinner which was just so helpful, thank you to you and your staff for a lovely break and thank you for the marmite pot it now has pride of place in my kitchen xx
