Me and my partner have stopped here twice so far. The owner is very nice and very polite offering you towels and jugs of water. We normally drop off our bags and head straight to the West End and then return at about midnight. 

I am very impressed with the shower they have it is a very fancy kind that feels great after hours of walking and travelling on the underground. The rooms have a nice thick quilt on the double beds which is ideal for winter, a bit warm summer though. 

Some people do not like the DIY breakfast however I actually prefer it to some places. You can make your eggs and toast the way you like them and you can have as much or as little tea or coffee as you want. The checkout time is at 10 AM which is a little early but a small price to pay for a nice homely stay.

A quite area away from the noise of zone 1

Had a small group of friends and needed a bed for the night which this was ideal for! Host was friendly, the front door lock is very stiff, it's a shared house so a shared lounge, kitchen, bathroom etc. Breakfast is all in fridge and cupboards so need to cook/prepare yourself so if you're looking for a B&B, this is not one! Was ideal for us though as we only needed somewhere safe and secure to sleep close to bars/town which was ideal.

This is a bed and breakfast, plain and simple.  The host was friendly and invites residents to help themselves to tea and coffee in the main kitchen.

The shower and toilet facilities are shared.

Rooms are clean and comfortable.

This is basically somewhere to lay your head overnight.

It’s not a Premier Inn, but it does not pretend to be.

Sent a message two days before to say we could not go due to ill health. One the day we were meant to arrive, got a call from a very friendly lady to see where we were. We had requested free cancellation through Booking.com as per their website. If its not possible they should not have it as an option. Still no acknowledgement of my message to date so not sure whose responsibility it was. Not the first time I had problems with booking.com😢

Could not go

Walking around at all hours constantly doing something noisy and routing in are things and moving things in room and one morning was certain I’d left my key in the room then suddenly it wasn’t there witch I can’t prove it but she charged us for it so all round unhappy and would not stay again rooms and shower was okay.

Was unsatisfactory and the landlord was really disturbing and made to feel very uncomfortable

I booked a room 2 weeks ago and requested a car parking space. The night before my booking I called the mobile number offered by Booking dot com 3 time and no answer. I arrived early on the day of booking and nobody at the property so I called the mobile again which rang out for ages and no answer. I texted to ask if ok to leave car on driveway of large house. No reply, so I left on roadside unsure of whether a residents permit required as strange road  signs. Then at 3pm (after the 2pm checkin time) I was travelling back on the tube and received a phone call from the illusive mobile number. I thought it was a call responding to my text. Noooooo... it was a gentleman who simply said ‘sorry we haven’t got a room for you tonight. I’ve told Booking dot com so you will get your money back in a few days... “Hold on” I said “what am I supposed to do about somewhere to stay when it’s 3pm?” I checked and the cheapest room within an hours drive was x5 the price I had paid because it’s last minute. The sad tale goes on... I called Booking and the lady said “oh there’s no notification from the property owner to say they can’t accommodate you... I’ll have to call them” I was on the phone for 25 minutes. She then reported that the owner had admitted there was no room for me... I’m guessing that as I paid £45 he had sold for much more last minute. Anyway, then the Booking lady said “we have a new system now and refunds only take 2 hours and we will pay you an extra £20 for the inconvenience” .. I pointed out that the £20 would not come close to the extra cost I would incur” ... That was Bookings attitude so I ended the call and waited 3 hours but NO REFUND... I called Booking again and a man said “sorry sir we don’t have any system to refund in 2 hours, it takes 7-12 working days!!! I said “are you joking? There’s no way it takes that long” It seems Booking dot com loves to hold on to your money for as long as possible!!!!!  Anyway this property is run by people with questionable customer service skills so stay clear if you know what’s good for your bank balance and a good nights sleep! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Avoid like the Plague YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

We booked this accommodation as it had reviews on booking.com that say it was fabulous , however this is the worst place I've ever stayed in in! The listing on Booking.com has a room option which states shared bathroom, however other room choices do not say that, so we assumed  wrongly as it turned out that other rooms were en suite and booked a 'Deluxe' room.  On arrival we felt the accommodation was very clean, as it said in reviews.  When we were shown to our room however we found it was not en suite, but was a very small double.  There were no tea or coffee making facilities, and the only furniture was a tiny wardrobe and a small table with one chair.  I would not consider this a Deluxe Room!  We were told we had to share a bathroom and also, despite the booking listing stating it included breakfast, we were required to make our own breakfast in the kitchen if we wanted one.  There was a laminated sheet in the room stating that the bathroom must be cleaned after use including washing the floor.  If the owners felt it was important enough to instruct guests to clean the bathroom for the benefit of other guests, they should have also put that there should be respect for the other guests in general.  There were people coming and going until after 2.00am, banging doors and taking showers which sounded like a plane taking off in our room due to an obvious issue with the plumbing.  All in all we left tired and hungry....not what you would expect from a Bed and Breakfast establishment with glowing reviews!
