We stayed 1 night recently at the B&B and were astounded at the attention to detail. The host David was great and even let us in before the check in time as we were attending a wedding nearby. The rooms are spacious, lovely taste in decor, and also en suite. The shower was again spacious. Complimentary breakfast was excellent with a selection cereal, porridge sachets, pain chocolate along with toast jam etc. The table was all set by David at night for breakfast which was lovely and you helped yourselves in the morning. David also arrived to check everything was fine. That also turned the bed down before we arrived home which was a lovely touch as you would normally only get this at a 5 star Hotel if you were lucky. Plenty of parking spaces in a quiet location which suited us fine. We were located in the gold and silver room which looked over the valley which was nice. Absolutely Superb Accommodation

This was our first stay at the Firbank Lodge but I know it won't be our last. A beautiful house with minute attention to detail, our room was perfect in every way. Little things like a socket near a mirror for hair drying and a proper make up mirror are things that even some of the finest hotels fail to provide, not the Firbank though, every need catered for. The kitchen and dining area, where you can help yourself to a continental style breakfast or just tea and coffee, has everything you could possibly need. However, the best thing about this place are the hosts, warm, friendly and generous nothing was too much trouble, we will be back!

The best b&b we have ever visited

A lovely room with a comfortable bed and excellent en suite. Our hosts were superb, gave interesting advice on the local area and places too eat. We were given a plentiful, tasty breakfast in the morning and we shared many laughs and tales.

Wonderful stay, so welcoming, even a glimpse of the distant sea & North Berwick Law

We were given comprehensive travel instructions upon booking and easily found our destination.The off road parking was helpful too.Helen ,the owner of Firbank, gave us a warm welcome and we were shown our first floor room which was fantastic...better than many hotel rooms which are advertised as 'de luxe.'We had a stunning view over the valley and a starry vista at nighttime.The bedroom was spacious with a large ensuite shower room and toilet and the bed was large and comfy.There's wifi and a flat screen tv, plenty of luggage and clothes space and, importantly, a good heating system.Breakfast was fabulous, and as we are vegetarian, we were amply catered for....meusli,fresh fruit, orange juice, fresh coffee, toast,croissants and a veggie cooked breakfast were all on offer.Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful, recommending several eating places nearby.Our room and the rest of the house was spotless and we felt very much at home here.We'd have no hesitation in recommending Firbank as a great holiday base as it's near enough Edinburgh to the South and a great place to stay if you are exploring Fife or further north.Thanks for a brilliant 2 nights!!

What can I say about this first class B and B Words really fail me. We have spent a few nights and days in the company of Helen and Mike. This house is spotless the service is exceptionally ! The food is excellent please believe me you cannot go wrong staying here. If you want peace and quietness then look no more. That’s Hellen

First class bed and breakfast

From the warm welcome, beautiful, spacious & modern accommodation to the amazing breakfast from start to finish our stay at Firbank was first class. The owners are the epitome of how to run a B&B the right way and genuinely care about making your stay as comfortable and stress free as possible and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a convenient and friendly space to explore Fife in all its glory.

Helen the proprietor is a very loverly lady very friendly and welcoming the house is one of the nicest we have stayed in loverly location room was beautiful as was the hole property.Great bed room and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely fantastic.

What a gem

What an amazing bed and breakfast so modern clean spacious and comfortable.Lovely room and breakfast was perfect even though we were late down!
We were made very welcome and our hosts were very kind even giving us a lift to collect our car from the wediind venue thanks so much.

Well worth a visit

Our third stay with Helen on our journey from Yorkshire to the Highlands. The house is situated in the historical end of Leslie, very close to Glenrothes.  We turn up with our bottle of wine, (glasses supplied by Helen - just ask), sit on the fabulous patio garden and decking, sleep in a very comfortable bed, eat a hearty, delicious breakfast, and then continue on our way. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. First class.

What's not to like?

Spent 3 amazing days staying at Firbank Guest House. We stayed in the silver room which was beautiful. The whole place has been refurbished with such attention detail every where you look.
The decking at the back is a perfect place to sit and have a coffee. Dave and Marc are amazing hosts.Looking forward to our return.
