First visit since reopening. Amazing refurbishment, place looks clean, fresh and welcoming. Well done!

Had Sunday lunch and have to say it’s possibly the best one we’ve had anywhere. Beef and lamb stunning as well as portion size excellent.

From the moment I rang and asked if it was ok to park for the night in our Motorhome things were first class!!
The bar has been recently refurbished to a very high standard.
They have 700 whiskey bottles on display, sorry 699 now...
The food was out of this world, it was quite delightful to have food that really wasn’t ‘ping’ food, it was gorgeous!!
The owner has done really well and it was great to speak to him.

I am a very fussy eater but the Sunday lunch here is absolutely amazing.    I had the lamb and it was cooked to perfection as was the veg.   And the  gravy.....  O,M,G.  I could drink it by the pint.       DEFINITELY worth a visit.

Called in on Friday evening coming home from long trip. Time was getting on so thought try somewhere different. Was not disappointed. The steak grill  was like a large plater. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, the chips were to die for. Proper thick hand and home cut chips and cooked how chips should be cooked. No grease on them, just soft and well cooked. Fresh salad also served with a beautifully cooked large mushroom. Nice friendly staff and good service. Have no doubts we will be back here for food. Also one of the largest collection of Whisky's on show. Hundreds of bottles. Well Recommended.

Stayed overnight with friends and family, my parents in the hotel, the rooms are in a separate building,on the pub premises but very private and peaceful. The rooms though not modern are clean and comfortable.
I stayed in my campervan in the carpark. We had an evening meal, which was freshly cooked and plentiful. We also had breakfast the following morning which was also excellent using local produce.
The owners are obviously devoted to this business and although it will take time for them to complete the revival of this grand old pub. Everything is very clean. We were made to feel very welcome and will be visiting again and again.
Dogs are also very welcome.

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst visiting Cranwell base just before Christmas. 

The owners and staff were very helpful and nothing too much for them. Cosy rooms and great food. Would def. stay again when in the area.

7 adults plus 1 toddler and 1 baby for Sunday lunch last weekend. 2 courses with huge portions for mains plus drinks. Under £200 even with the tip. Food was very good and service was great. Will definitely be back

My fiancée and I stayed here for two nights whilst we attended a nearby wedding. Our room was cosy and comfortable and we were given a very good ‘Full English’ breakfast. Of particular note was the great customer service offered when I asked to borrow an iron and ironing board - the manager very kindly offered to iron my shirt himself (and did an immaculate job!). I love The George. Stayed here for a number of years now. The village of Leadenham is a beautiful place set on a rare hill in Lincolnshire. The Hotel is dated yes but service is always good. The food was always outstanding with the previous owners and the new people are carrying that on. Value for money is excellent. I really enjoy staying here and will continue to do so.

Top customer service for our 2-night stay!

Great stay as usual

Having been to the George before and having had really nice food, it was a shame when we were told that we couldn’t have the normal menu sat outside and had to have the outdoors menu but then another table next to us was allowed to order food from the main inside menu. This made us feel like outsiders and not as welcomed as we have been before. There was a really nice staff member, but there were a few who did not interact with us like before and were not up to the usual standard I have experienced in the past.
