We recently very much enjoyed an overnight stay at this stylish and extremely comfortable guest house. The house offers the same facilities that one would expect in a hotel and we appreciated the warm welcome by the owner who also advised on nearby places to-eat.  Breakfast was excellent and everything was impossible to fault.  Highly recommended. 

My husband and I have just returned from a one-night stay at the delightful Sherwood B&B - and what a wonderful find.  The house is just beautiful - very large, light and airy with superb décor and attractive bedrooms which are super clean and pleasing to the eye.  We were greeted by the lovely 'lady of house' who showed us to our room and said we were free to come and go as we pleased.  Breakfast was excellent - and was served in an equally lovely dining room.  Nothing was too much trouble for our host and she was eager to make us feel welcome and comfortable.  We cannot praise this establishment enough and would highly recommend it to anyone.  As an aside, we understand the Bicester outlet is within easy reach.

A charming B&B guesthouse. A spotless & magnificently maintained house. There are many so called 4-5 star hotels that just don’t match this standard. Bedrooms are very well appointed with best en-suite bathroom we’ve experienced in many a year. 

I booked this B&B because of its closeness to Millets Farm Falconry and I couldn’t have been more happy with my choice. The bedroom was incredibly spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Nothing. was too much trouble for Frances who is a gracious and friendly owner. She even kindly offered to drop me at the Farm as I am a non driver and even came to collect me at the end of the day which I was really grateful for.  Breakfast was lovely with good quality produce, and a nice selection was offered.  I would most definitely stay here again, it’s easy to get the bus into Oxford City Centre from the B&B and of you’re a golfer there’s a golf course nearby.

I stayed here before two of my exams as it was more Convenient than travelling before my exams. The owners were great. Fitted me in and accommodated me with a study area. They even offered me their cooker so I could cook a pizza so I could get optimum study time in. They were so kind and friendly I couldn’t recommend them enough. The bath was so lovely to relax after studying.the breakfast was a perfect set up! Thank you so much for 2 wonderful stays. I would stay here again if I was ever in the area again.  

I had such a pleasant day at Sherwood and cannot fault the guesthouse in any way. Room was in brilliant condition and very clean. Comfy bed and a warm interior made the nights sleep very good. Breakfast is also great with several options to choose from. Parking is easy too. The owner is so friendly and she makes you feel welcome from the minute you arrive. The only slight little issue is finding it as it's not very well sign posted and especially hard when you arrive there after sunset. But this is being very critical, I'd recommend it to anyone.

This is a very well appointed B&B, a short drive from Oxford, or actually the Seacourt Park and ride - you can bus into Oxford from there due to restrictive parking.  There is plenty of parking at the B&B in the secure grounds.  Frances is a wonderful host and provides a delicious breakfast, as well as local information for the area.
