We have been renting 4 of the flats since last April and it has been problem after problem 

This accommodation is a terrible standard beds are only just bigger than a single so I hope there is not a couple wanting to share a bed plus they are about 20 years old if they are a day.  Shower does little more than dribble out. Appliances in the kitchen are the cheapest around no expense has been spent on this place 
Two of the handles on the windows have fallen off so the window doesn’t close properly so you get the draft and the noise 
The building lift is never working so hope you are not on 2nd of 3rd floor with heavy suitcase plus the lights in the underground parking rarely work. If they do come on its 30 seconds and they are back off 

And the most recent thing is the aerial  for the television has  stopped working and there is no WiFi so not much to keep you entertained at night

Don’t waste your money

Great place to stay, i used to live in Derby and come back once every 2-4 months. I always stop in these apartments as they are clean, great location and much better than a hotel. Always good value for money the apartments are great for all.

Excellent

My husband took me here for our anniversary on 10th February! Wow amazing Grosha who was on reception made our stay perfect from start to finish. She decorated our room and made it look so special!!!! Grosha was so helpful showed us around our room, showed us how things worked nothing was a problem Grosha is a credit to the business she’s such a lovely kind lady! Who works so hard to make your stay special and that it’s self should be recognised! We had such a great stay one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in and we have stayed in a few! The room was spotless and clean. The bath rooms were lovely the shower was powerful and the bath is probably the best bath I’ve ever been in! The beds are a little on the small side but the mattress made up for that it didn’t effect our stay. We stayed in room 5 and we are already booking our next trip. Valerie who took my husbands booking was also brilliant and provided my husband with ideas of extras to make the room even more special, which I think is a lovely personal touch. Again very helpful and it made our stay special! Thank you to the Lux apartments we cannot wait to come back and thank you for giving us the best anniversary we’ve had we are very thankful. I have already recommended this place to our family and friends and will continue to do so. I literally cannot understand how anyone can complain about these apartments or hospitality, I can only assume they must have something wrong with them! Anniversary 

We were let down by The Stay Company so were were booked in at Luxe.  The people were friendly in the end but initially worried about people staying in more than one apartment.  The arrival process was great, apartment was pretty good (but tired in places) and plenty of space.  Parking not ideal but location is very good.

Good for Price

As an alternative to a hotel this place was excellent value for money.  You are met by the receptionist on arrival and shown to a secure parking slot under the building. They offer to carry your luggage and then escort you to the apartment. After they welcome you to they show show you where they have left you some breakfast cereals, fresh tea, coffee, milk and a large carton of fresh orange in the fridge freezer. Digital tv comfortable lounge and dining area with a well appointed kitchen. The place is spotlessly clean and it’s obvious the management are very proud of their accommodation. A shot walk into the city centre for all the bars restaurants and shops. It’s going to be my first choice again when visiting Derby. 

What a little gem

We booked here for my friends 25th birthday. It was all confirmed and then I get a phone call saying they have cancelled our booking because they don't take groups. However on booking.com it says great for groups. The gentleman on the phone said it clearly states they don't take group bookings but no where on their website says this, it says the opposite. Completely unreliable and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
