Terrible stay won't be staying again and if I don't get a refund I will never use these again anywhere will always pick premiere I n 

Noisy and parking horrendously expensive

Due to being above a nightclub we couldn’t sleep til they shut after 2am. We asked to move to a hotel quieter room for our 2nd night and were told that we were in one of the quietest rooms. Staff told us there is an ongoing legal dispute with the nightclub and appreciate there was nothing staff could have done. However, the description buried on the website as “ Due to the thriving nightlife of this central location, some external noise can be heard” is WILDLY misleading. 
Room cleanliness was also an issue, curtains did not close/cover the windows properly and internal noise from other bathrooms could be heard after the nightclub quietened down. 
We tried very hard to find an alternative so we wouldn’t have to stay for our planned 2nd night but unfortunately we’re unable to. 
We will never go back. 

No sleep til 2am

We booked months ago and booked in early, the guy alocating us a room could see our age and put us over the courtyard of the club. Thanks pal. 3am finish then a bit of a race around corridors laughing.. Would not of booked if it was transparent on the the website, this was not normal city noise.. Everyone had the TV on full volume in an attempt to not be at the rave. Try somewhere else ( but not macdolds hotel) same problems.. 

Blaring nightclub

Great location if staying in Chester, overlooks amphitheatre. Bed was comfy, room a little noisy but to be expected as over bank Holiday weekend. Staff helpful and rooms clean. Would recommend for couples, families or even for just a solo visit

Great Central location

This hotel is above a nightclub. We were told that as we were the second to last people to check in we had one of the loudest rooms in the building as they fill up from quiet end to loud end. The nightclub blares music out till 3am. We were told it says on the website for a quieter stay to book down the road but it does not clearly enough explain the cause or volume of the noise stating it is due to the city central location leading you to imagine normal levels of hussle and bustle not hearing every song like there’s a speaker next to your head. The website is misleading and they are all but scamming people in their lack of transparency on this issue

Hotel above nightclub

Chester is a beautiful and a fantastic city to spend a couple days in. This hotel is fantastically located with everything right on your doorstep. There is no car park but there was parking within eyesight of the hotel. And travelodge give you ticket to get a discount. The staff were friendly, gave us clear instructions and advised about things to see. Our room was huge and had all we needed, including air conditioning! I would have liked another chair though. Reasonably priced and would happily stay again. 

City Break

Where to start got to this hotel lady behind desk could do with a dose of customer service training well room one had a lose nail sticking through bathroom floor being used as a door stop and slats on the double bed were broken to the point bed was unsleepable went to customer service literally no acknowledgment from the lady on reception she gave us keys for another room well it was putrid not cleaned dirty coffee cups in bathroom dirt in bathroom bins full random half full buckets in the bedroom but most disturbing the bed looked like it had recently been slept in and to the point there was blood on the pillows what had not been cleaned as the photos shall soon prove unbelievably we went back to reception the same lady was shown photos and we were not even given a apology even tho there was a biohazard and health risk on the bed bedding then we were advised oh what would u like me to do the hotel is fully booked but somehow we were then given a family room without enough pillows and still not a single apology .. the hotel and its rooms are need of repair as the first room had issues and the third has water ingress from the ceiling .. tbh if you have the option of sleeping on the street or a night in here the streets sounds better the photos are of the second room what was aparently cleaned and received no apology 

Will never be back

I would give it a minus rating if I could. 
We were in room 212 and the room directly overlooked a beer garden which was open until the early hours.
The music was on and the noise was horrendous and resulted in a total lack of sleep.
We were not able to move rooms and the hotel were aware that the bar opened until very late and didn’t even have any ear plugs.
An awful stay and will never stay there again.

Extreme noise

So much noise at night, if not from the bar / nightclub below open until the early hours. Then there would be the returning hen night crowds banging doors and laughing so loud until the very early hours. Staff didn't seem interested in telling noisy revellers to pipe down just apologised next morning. Two out of three night stay got little or no sleep spoilt our Chester break.

Don't forget your ear plugs if you want to sleep!

Nice in the daytime but come nightfall watch out. The noise from the club right below our bedroom, felt like you was in there. No sleep until after 2.00 in the morning when the music stopped.  Will not come back here again. Avoid.
