So pleased we managed to complete our short stay at Drinkstone before the virus lock down. We would have missed an absolute treat. This was my wife and I first visit to Suffolk and this was an ideal base for exploring the area. Set in beautiful gardens the accommodation was first class, lovely comfortable room, delicious breakfast that set us up for the whole day and lovely hosts in Michael and Christine. Hoping to get back as soon as we can and would recommend unreservedly. 

Exceptional place to stay

Stayed and Drinkstone Park several times now. It is our "go to" B&B in the Bury St Edmunds area and it was a pleasure to return after our last visit a couple of years ago.

Michael and Christine are so welcoming and the rooms and breakfast are fabulous.

Just keeps getting better

I was in the area working long hours on a project and Drinkstone was the perfect place to come back and crash at the end of each long day to re-charge.  The very well behaved dogs were an added bonus since I was a long way from home missing my own pups.  The breakfasts were gorgeous and the perfect start to another long day that kept me going.  Very welcoming and felt like staying with friends.  I accidentally left some clothing I had just purchased in the closet and they found it, got in touch with me before I'd left town and offered to ship it back to me in America if I couldn't get back to collect the items.  Above and beyond!!  THanks

Oasis from work!

Myself and my spent a weekend away at Drinkstone. We spent the two nights in the peach room, once again absolute faultless break. Yet again we were welcomed by Michael and Christine (the owners) they always make us feel so welcomed.. we have had three excellent stays here. Its so difficult nowadays to find such a gem of a bed & breakfast that offers this amount of commitment to making their guests happy and that sence of being home from home. The breakfast is outstanding and all freshly prepared and cooked to perfection.  We would highly recommend this, you will not find anywhere that offers this.    

Weekend break.

Best B&B we have EVER stayed at over 40 years. Superb accommodation and breakfast. Very friendly hosts with excellent recommendations where to eat in the evening. Take Michael's advice. Central for many areas in Suffolk and Norfolk. Will visit again

Best B&B we have ever stayed at - Superb

What can we say that’s not just duplicating everything that’s already been written..? Superb location - peaceful and quiet, close to Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge, not too far from Norwich and the Norfolk coast. Superb atmosphere - Michael & Christine can’t do enough for their guests. Superb breakfast - really sets you up for the day. Superb gardens - beautiful whatever the weather. This was our fourth visit, we’re already planning to return in March, and we’re looking forward to meeting the new addition to the “four footed family...!” Thanks again, guys, and may your success continue!

Getting to be a Home from Home...

Drinkstone Park ticks all the right boxes for a relaxing B&B. The hosts know how to run a B&B and it shows in the details. I should add that all the rooms are comfortable, there is a guest lounge and the breakfasts are to die for (well not literally but you get the point) Many guests are repeat customers so that indicates the level of service and quality. In fact it is more like home from home and being part of a family. 
The downside? ....too many people now get to know!

B&B like it should be

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. The proprietors Michael & Christine make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive to when you leave.
Breakfast is out of this world with such a lovely choice and beautifully cooked by Christine.
Must mention Tegan & George, who are characters them selves....

Weekend 

A very warm weclome lovely room ( The Red Rom) tea and warm scones with home made jam on arrivel. A wecloming log fire burning. Beautiful gardens. Michael & Christine made us both feel at home from the start of our stay. Lots of little extras in the room.. ( tea & coffee available, fully equiped shower room with shampoo body wash hair drier and everything you would need. TV DVD player, port and glasses for a late night tipple, WOW ) Breakfast was fab with fresh fruit cereals yogarts and eggs from there own chickens cooked any way you like them a full breakfast menu.
Plenty of info on where to vist in the loocal area available. A large collection of DVD's to watch in your room plenty of books to read if you forgot your own. I cant thank them enough for our weekend stay.

Superb 2 night stay

If Carlsberg did B+B's this place would be champagne, Michael and Christine do a fantastic job, the breakfast was first class and the garden is beautiful, I would recommend this place to everyone, I will return
