I highly recommend the Dolgoch Falls Hotel. It’s a beautiful setting with bus and steam train transport close. There are beautiful waterfall walks on the doorstep and mountain walks or beach strolls within reasonable distance. The couple who run the hotel are very hospitable and helpful and friendly and as a solo traveller this is crucial to holiday enjoyment and satisfaction. The hotel has a tea room open during the day as well. I would highly recommend the hotel. I found it very clean and comfortable, in fact I enjoyed it so much that I stayed an extra night!
