Last minute decision to stay over for two nights whilst working in the area. Wasn’t sure as I drove up to the property what to expect as this is obviously John and Jans home. I was welcomed on the drive by Jan who was so friendly. The room I was shown to was perfect. It has a small lobby leading to the bathroom and bedroom and a lovely seating area in front of the window overlooking the garden. 
John and Jan are perfect hosts so friendly and helpful. Everything is provided in the room shower gel shampoo even paracetamol should you have a headache. 
Soft fluffy white towels and crisp clean cotton bedding.
TV and free WiFi 
Breakfast was plentiful and varied and John can cook a good full English. 
I will definitely return when working in the area or if visiting the NEC. 

Two night stay whilst working

Booked to take my wife and son to the games expo at the NEC and stayed here for two nights. Very warm and friendly welcome from the owners Jan and John. Room was nicely decorated, comfortable, clean and plenty of space for what we needed it for. John cooked us a full English breakfast both mornings to set us up for the day and nothing was too much trouble. Very chatty and interesting guy and a talented painter too! Location is good. Quiet street, 15 minute drive to the NEC, and a decent Italian restaurant and local shops, bowling alley etc nearby. Would definitely recommend to anyone attending NEC events.

Friendly, clean, ideal for NEC events

Lovely welcome from Jan. Room small but adequate. My husband, myself and my son stayed in a family room.
Breakfast was ample, cooked to perfection.
I work as a cook and Jan could have a job any day.
We met john at breakfast, so friendly, we loved his banter and very interesting.
Couldn’t of been more welcoming and helpful.
The train station is just over the road, so we went into Birmingham centre and was pleasantly surprised with how lovely it was, cultural scene, restaurants and amazing shopping, we will return and visit more of this area.

N.E.C. Visit

I went to Birmingham for the Springfair exhibition and I stayed at this guest house for three nights. The lady who owns this Guest House is so friendly and nice, the room was so big and the view on the garden very beautiful. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean and comfortable. I was lucky to get the room with a small lobby and the bathroom with both shower and bath tab. Everything is given (shampoo, shower gel and even conditioner, hairdryer, boiler for water so you can have a cup of tea - or coffee - whenever you want) and breakfast was full of food and good. The lady cooks breakfast for you when you get down to the kitchen so nothing is cold or missing. The last day we had an early flight (we left before 5 am) and she even left a few snacks in our rooms to have a quick breakfast before leaving since we could have tea or coffee in our rooms. She booked all our taxis and was a good help. She's just a nice, friendly and wonderful lady. Hope to be back here next year for the NEC exhibition.

Too good to be true!

Stayed here 10th Oct 2017 till 12th October 2017. Amazing Value..
Very friendly and genuinely nice people who run it. Nothing is to much bother,,
Comfy Bed, Good Shower, Quiet and Relaxing. For the price Wonderful..
I am here for an exhibition at the NEC (15 - 20 min drive).
Next time I am in Birmingham, I will stay here again...

Amazing Value..

Excellent location. We arrived late but Jan was able to give us details of several great places to eat within walking distance. The room was lovely and a good size. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in a B&B with lots of choice for a healthy breakfast (mine) and a perfectly cooked full English - and warm croissants -  (my partners!!). Would definitely recommend this and will stay here again when we are next at the NEC as it took less than 15mins to get there. 

Perfect for NEC

I stayed here with 2 friends. They made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and cozy, the beds are really comfy. Great selection of breakfast food. The house is in a nice quiet road. Also the Italian restaurant down the road is great
