I went to Bath this weekend with my partner and before we went we did that classic thing of looking for cheap air bnb’s for our last minute stay in Bath to prevent very expensive hotel stays (as is the norm now) but then came across this gem of a place. 
It actually ended up cheaper than the air bnb’s we were looking at even though it is closer to town and you have room cleaned, free breakfasts made for you and loads of extra treats in your stay! I’ll never go for an air bnb in Bath again!! (Unless it’s to book this whole house out for a special weekend, which they sometimes do)

I am generally quite fussy and high maintenance - I’m not going to pretend I’m not! I have high standards! And this place was just ideal. Proper bed and proper breakfast with a fantastic host.

Myself and partner stayed in the top floor room of this gorgeously homely yet modern house for 2 nights in the incredibly comfortable Super King (6ft) bed (!) where there was a TV (with freeview, netflix, bbc iplayer, 4od etc) and a beautiful walk-in shower in the en-suite. Stunning view out the windows over the entire city and totally silent and dark at night. Black out blinds mean you’re not woken by sunlight in the morning either. Exactly what we wanted and couldn’t have asked for more.

The place is spotlessly clean, gorgeous little touches that made you feel really well looked after. The breakfasts were delicious and better than any hotel you could stay in (with lots of options to choose from!), the food is locally sourced and vegan/veggie options available on request. 
Catherine & Jamie really are superb hosts and look after you brilliantly, they’ve truly thought of everything to make your stay special and comfortable. They suggested great things for us to do and pubs to go to, they are very knowledgable about the area & there is a great family vibe in the house whilst feeling professional and having very high standards.
They kindly offered us lifts into town (only a 6 minute drive) but we had our own car, and there was lots of free parking right outside the house during our stay. 

They also have deals with local businesses if you stay with them you get discounts at the Roman Baths/ Thermae Spa / other local businesses which also make it very worth while. 

Will absolutely be recommending this place to friends and would love to stay again.

Fantastic house and hosts

Twelve of us stayed at Bodhi House for a family gathering and it was perfect. Catherine couldn't do enough for us. The house had everything that we needed and more. Ideal location, just a short distance into the centre.

30th Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Celebrations

Just had 4 nights mid-week with Jamie and his family. Like everyone before us we cannot give them less than 5* (although that might mean they were fully booked next time we go). Fabulous view from our front bedroom lovely sit-out-in-front well maintained garden and lawn. All really clean inside and good quality stuff: towels, bathroom fittings, 'products' (according to my wife), the bed, the bedding, the decor, nothing has been scrimped on..... and the breakfasts! Jamie is a consummate host and chef. You will NOT leave the table hungry; again all really good quality ingredients beautifully cooked to your order. And for car users the on road parking 10yds round the corner in a cul-de-sac was dead easy and safe. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Bath. There maybe cheaper, there maybe more convenient hotels, but at this price there is definitely nowhere better. Thanks guys. 

Comfortable, convivial, convenient 

My partner and myself stayed here as a bed and breakfast. We were made to feel so welcome and could not rate high enough. Our room was lovely with a gorgeous view and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely return if visiting Bath again. I would very highly recommend here. Can not think of a single negative.

Excellent Stay

Bodhi House worked perfectly for a hen party of 16 ladies. Clean, homely , tastefully decorated and spacious with excellent communication from Catherine throughout. Both Catherine and Jamie went beyond usual host duties, taking deliveries before our arrival and collections from the railway station . Plus delicious brownies on arrival. Excellent hosts, excellent house, 15/20 minute walk into Bath centre. Plenty of free parking nearby. Perfect. Thank you.

Fabulous Hen do location

Enquired before booking as to whether our two bikes could be kept somewhere secure overnight. Had an immediate reply confirming a garage was available. Booked and had a call from Catherine (co-owner) the following day to arrange check-in. When we arrived (at 12 noon), just to park the car and unload the bikes, we were met by Jamie, her husband, who showed us our room and also the garage and gave me a garage key. Off we rode around Bath and returned around 5pm. Room was good size and location of the B&B was key for us.Breakfasts were superb - would recommend.

Two night B&B stay

Alway consistently good service. Very friendly, greeting me at the door by my name. Even thought I have a early start they have always gone out of there way to oblige with a offer of breakfast. Would be very happy to stay here for pleasure asa posed to business. They even have sockets by the beds to charge your phone!
