Went there twice for dinner enjoying tasty Indian curries, a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and a nice view of Fort Portal and the Rewenzoori mountains. Not a fancy place but rather good value for money. A pool table adds to the attraction.

Without any doubt, Delhi Garden is the best option to sleep in Fort Portal. In a city where all the hotel are expensive you can find this indian hotel, with big and clean rooms, bathroom and a excelent restaurant for a minimum price. We were very lucky to found them and if we come back to Fort Portal, we would go to Delhi Garden.

Finally, the staff were very very helpful and everything we needed, they helped us. 

I stayed for three days in July 2018. I had visited previously in the summer of 2016 and specifically chose to return to the Dehli Garden because the food is good, the staff is quite friendly, the price is very affordable and it is in a good location. I felt safe walking in the nearby area and would walk to the lovely garderns of the nearby Mountains of the Moon hotel. Hope, who works at reception, seemed to be always available to help with the details (laundry, ironing...) that makes a hotel feel like a home. Annette in the Restaurant was quite helpful as well, making sure I could get the meals I wanted. I would highly recommend this hotel for those on a tight budget, you do get your money's worth and more!

The best option in Fort Portal

Good Food, Good Staff, Good Location, Good Price!

Quite decent place to stay while in Fort Portal. Choose of the rooms in front if you want to have a decent stay. The rooms in the back do not look nice. It is a cheap place, so you shouldn't expect more, but it's quite good for a night stay. 

Reasonable place

I stayed here for five nights. For the price it was ok. but just to sleep I was there.most of the time was out for meetings. I feel like this was run by a family hence that draw backs also follow them

An Indian style of service

Although some of the food itself tasted good the quality of service from the staff was horrendous when it came to dealing with a food allergy (which was repeatedly mentioned at the order). When we asked for the dish that was served to be replaced , as it did contain the allergen, they picked out the food items themselves and tried to serve it again. When we confronted them about it they simply laughed about it and simply offered to serve plain rice instead. Our entire meal was delayed as a result and half the dishes ended up being cold when ate. No apology was made. Horrendous manners and a complete lack of care for their customers.
