Over rated. Very expensive you pay for views. Other than views it’s no different to any other Turkish resort but yet sells itself as exclusive and that’s why it tries to justify the expensive prices but streets dirty, loads of rubbish lying around, no decent beaches, the amount of traffic is horrendous, but worst of all is the packs of dogs roaming and the constant barking all night it’s an accident waiting to happen

Over rated Kalkan

Absolutely fantastic holiday,  the villa is beautiful, spacious, clean with spectacular scenery and views, the pool is wonderful and well maintained,  everything you need is provided,  the kitchen is well equipped for a light snack to full on dinner party, bed linen, bathroom towels and pool towels are provided and changed regularly, complex staff very helpful and friendly, local shops and markets only a few minutes away, or Kalkan is a short and cheap taxi ride away, we were very sad to leave, have all reddy made inquiries to book next year. We have been holidaying in Turkey for the last 10 years and I can honestly say this was the best holiday

Amazing villa , beautiful scenery! It was an fantastic opportunity! Only downside is that amnesties are a drive away, so would recommend car hire, especially if you have children! Lovely hospitality from the locals... very quiet and scenic. 

Beautiful 

Kalkan is a beautiful part of Turkey to visit. A special peaceful place, friendly people, welcomming and relaxing. Excellent food/restaurants, lovely boat trips. I cannot fault the place with its amazing scenery and a lovely holiday as a whole. We stayed in the lovely 'Kelebek Hotel' and would love to go back.

We have been going to Kalkan for the past 15 years just love it there wonderful restaurant's very friendly people over the years we have made man friends with the local people would love to be able to buy my own villa I could live there for 6months of the years

lovely area, best restraunts, nice people, good value for money, lovely beach clubs,the walk down too harbour is nice lots of boat trips on offer if there is 9 or 10 of you you can have some boats to yourself
