Warning! DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO STAY IN A DUMP! When I booked I saw some reviews but thought I travelled enough and what could be so bad. How wrong I was! Someone said they are scammers...well they are.I arrived after 500 km and with a 7 yrs old in a tow to be told by "front desk manager" Rasul that my room is not ready..and I said to him no problem since you took the payment in advance I will call booking and they will relocate me to another property ( they can do that and the property that cannot provide you with accomodation will bear the cost difference if there is one). He was startled that I am not an innocent traveler that takes everything for granted. In 15 minutes they had a room available. Rasul is actually a nice guy ( seemed to me) he invited us for coffee while we waited, talked with us every day and offered an iftar meal. The room is very small and the steps are so steep and dirty. I would tear the building down and refurbish it! That is not a place for humans: peeling wallpaper, broken mirrors, insalubre toilet, black bedsheets that had ceiling plaster fallen on it. In few words disaster ( we survived because I bought cleaning soltions and disinfected everything and had my sleeping bags with me). I told Rasul my honest feedback and guess what when they saw the comments on booking they said I never stayed there. Well I have some photos so let them challenge that again! By cancelling the booking as a no show the system will delete your comment and the reservation fee that the owner pays is waved, however they took my money by claiming it is a non-refundable reservation,but there is google too :) for feedback. So staff is nice but owner is a scammer indeed! If I didn't stay let them refund the rest of my stay -had 5 days. I will loose the money for the first day and refund the rest. So I asked booking to show my review, this way people know what they are getting into. Don't fall for the cheep price that includes breakfast. You will never see the breakfast. I didn't and have a feeling that if I asked they will serve it so late that you miss all Istanbul sightseeing.

When we arrived, we found a group of 6 waiting on the street to ask the manager about their room, no one speaks english, even the manager, he was unprofessional, we asked for our room, he told us that the hotel is full for tonight, he took us to another hotel to spend our night. the hotel was horrible, the smell of the room was really bad, even the bed. We were 3 but they gave us a room for 2, the street was full of drunk people. We searched to move to another hotel bcz it was the worst. It wasn’t even safe to spend 1 night!! While moving, no one asked us about the problem and the reason about moving. They took the total amount immediately knowing that we chose to pay in the hotel!! We forgot to take pictures bcz our main purpose was to leave this area as soon as possible. DON’T BOOK IN THIS HOTEL!!! Unprofessional manager, Drunk people in the street, Dirty area...

When we arrived they took us to the horrible rooms, with damp smell inside and the dirtiest sheets on the bed I have ever seen, Couches had holes inside and I went to the owner and showed them the pictures of my reservation, I had printed them out and asked to take us in the rooms shown on the pictures, because we could never stay in those rooms. They did not talk in English or Russian and therefore we used Google Translate for communication.They showed us different rooms and in one of them they were repairing toilet plumbing. We agreed to move there because these rooms looked better (but don't think that they were even near to the normal rooms and especially near to the rooms illustrated on the pictures shown here) and they moved us there after 2 hours. Now details about rooms where we staid: Room Size, it was very small room (our friends room was bigger) Sheets on the bed had black spots on them Our friends room window handle was broken Our window was not closing fully, it was half open every time (I had it open all the time when in the room anyway because of the smell, but when I tried to close it when we were going out it did not close fully, it was half open) Curtains were dirty with spots on them and they were sticky Bathroom and Toilet (Toilet was so near to the sink it was a huge challenge to try to sit on it) Smell in the room (toilet has glass door and smell from the toilet and canalization directly comes into the room, room is very small and all room smells, you have to open the window to get fresh air) I do not even try to talk about the privacy you need when you enter the toilet you should not be on the exposition show, the door of the toilet does not lock. its glass and it's open.

I love the city but this place is the worst you can go to. We booked 2 rooms for 3 people, but 2 people could not go. Even so we paid the two rooms, and we stayed 2 in each room. When we arrived, no one spoke English, so communication was very difficult, but this was not the worst. One day we arrived at the room and there were other people inside and the luggage was not in the room. We went to talk to the staff and they did not understand us in English. They called the "boss" and started joking with us as if it were normal. The luggage appeared in a room of two people, they moved it without our authorization because they needed the other room. We tried to find a solution and they did not give us any. Also the rooms have no privacy in the bathroom, the door is glass and does not close, and in the room upstairs you could hear rats on the roof.
