Bolu Termal Otel

The main attraction of this hotel is their thermal spa, and so it is! The interior of the thermal spa looks old but the quality is there. The interior looks like a Turkish bath area except the middle 'platform' is changed into a pool where hot water at 42 degrees Celsius fill the pool. You wont need your swimming cap here. After your dinner, around 9.30pm is a good time to head to the thermal spa. I went there during winter, and it is easy to imagine how I longed for a proper thermal spa. The temperature of the water makes you sweat within minutes and that is exactly what we are looking for ~ say good bye to the toxins in your body! At first sight, you may be intimidated by the old look of the whole thermal spa, but fear not as this is a true treat! Just be sure to have company and enjoy yourself over the hot water. With water at 42 degree Celsius, that is exactly the perfect temperature a thermal spa should have in my humble opinion. The rooms are not very big but they will do for a night. To make it up, they prepare a wonderful breakfast where fresh honey comb, cheeses, soup, etc is served. My opinion is if you are planning to have a stop in Bolu, do go to this hotel and be sure to use their thermal spa. Oh and, the thermal spa is free of charge by the way...^^
