Stayed here while on a trip to the Sahara. Excellent service, such a great room as well. Very comfy beds, clean and spacious. It was quite noisy though. The dinner and breakfast was also of great quality. It makes for a great base to explore further into the desert.

Really cool

We stayed as part of a tour group. Hotel is rated 4* but rooms were so badly maintained & you can see that staff take no pride in the hotel. Firstly wifi was only available at the lobby & restaurant & even that it was not consistent. When we first got into our room, we could not open the toilet door. It was stuck. We had to struggle to get it open & then decided not to shut it again in case we're stuck in the toilet. Room was terribly dark. One of the bedside lamp was not working. Had the bulb replaced but brightness was not much better. The lampshade looks like it has melted & was going to catch fire. A very dirty chair with many holes was left in the corridor. Not sure why it wasn't removed as no one is ever going to sit on it and it gives the hotel a very bad image. Children were running up & down the corridor screaming right into the night.
Restaurant was chaotic. Guests helped themselves to food like there was no tomorrow, many of them left food unfinished & wasted. Food ran out fast before it could be replenished. 
There's a musician outside the restaurant playing an extremely loud musical instrument. Perhaps we did not know how to appreciate that kind of music.
I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Badly maintained hotel

It was hot but the a/c not working. The food doesn’t taste good and a little of options. Very poor service no one cares . We will not go back there 
My wife and my 2 girls were not happy. We were planing on staying 4days but we changed our minds we left the next morning. When I went to talk to the manager he was very rude

Bad hotel

It was a beautiful property. Room was ok and clean. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was slow almost non existence. Did not provide drinking water in room. Even during dinner they only allocate one bottle of drinking water, when I requested for extra the waiter said must go to reception to buy.

Probably one of the good hotel in Tozeur

The hotel itself is a beautiful building.  The lobby could be a little cleaner.  The house cat is a nice touch.  The porters are very quick and provide good service.  The front desk person is trying.  It seems they have a limited front office.  The AC in the rooms is acceptable; however, I hear the wifi is non-existent in the rooms.  We use our own hotspot, so this is not an issue.  I think a couple bottles of courtesy water in the rooms is essential, yet this is not something provided.  The food is nearly inedible, except for the bread, which is always fresh a delicious.  The pool is great, clean and refreshing.

Cons
-Zero Wifi in rooms, only in the common areas
- Location is far from Tozeur town and there is not much in the vicinity 
-Rooms are not updated and are dark and dingy. General lack of amenities which was not befitting of its 4 star rating. The central aircon took a long time to cool down the room and it was rather stuffy.
-Service/Housekeeping
(i)We were only given one towel in the room even though it was booked for 2
(ii) We asked for additional towels for swimming (which would not be an unusual request as there was no poolside towels) and they refused to give us any
(iii) We went to the bar one afternoon and the service was poor.

Pros
-Exterior of the hotel is pleasant enough
- Pool is nice
- Breakfast and dinner buffet is pretty good, offering a nice mix of western and Tunisian style dishes.

Mixed feelings

Pretty hotel, great outside spaces. Rooms are comfy but a bit more attention to the details wouldn't hurt. For example, WiFi in the rooms wasn't working, the inside of the bathroom door had stains of dried water (salts) that weren't cleaned, no sound proofing at all. Little details like this matter. Breakfast buffet was small but tasty. Rooms aren't smoke free like in most hotels in Tunisia.
