Nita Raft House

You won't find a better view all along the river. Very peaceful.
The owner are amazing friendly people with 5 good dogs. 
Room are very clean and basic, but everything that's needed.
The common area is a lovely shaded spot to sit if it gets too hot.

Nita Raft House was an amazing and perfect place to stay for a few days. Cute homestay on the river with a stunning ☀ view for the river and mountains 🗻 in the back when opening the window. 

You can have a private bathroom for 250 baht in total the view just amazing and the almosphere is great if you are looking for some nature experience. 🌲 

🏡 The homestay is within walking distance to the Pakprak Market and it's less than a 15 minutes🚶walk from the bus station. ☀ 

💰 Great view in small price. I highly recommended this place for any visit to Kanchanaburi, and very nice owner and staff. 

😂 However, 🕒 If I have time, I will be come back again when I go to Kanchanaburi. 🚗

So relaxing, amazing cheap delicious food,  beautiful location on the river kwai itself. Had the best 5 says. The owner and his wife are lovely people, she cooks amazing food in very good prices. 150 for a single bed room with fan, great price compared to other guesthouses in kanchanaburi 

This sits between 4 and 5 for me because the rooms are very basic and need a lick of paint. They feel a bit too run-down. But everything else is so great and the price easily sets off the state of the rooms. Great staff. Lovely food. Very good prices and above all, an AMAZING location floating ON the river.

As the title of my review says, the staff are great. Knowledgeable of the local area, easy to deal with and very welcoming. I found them incredibly helpful. The owner has fluent English which makes thing easier as well. There are also 4 lovely dogs that greet you every time you arrive home. They always take up 10 minutes of my time when I get back.

I was a little put out that the room has no warm water and there are no plug points in the room so charging your items is resigned to leaving them in the common area, although the owner had a solution for this and had an extension cord which ran all the way to my room through the window.

The price is good and compared to other options and is the closest riverside accommodation to the bus station.

I want to thank the owner for all of his help during my stay.



Lovely place very unique. Great price. Is slightly far from town but we hired a bike so was okay. No plug sockets in room would have been a problem but we had a power bank and knew about it in advance.  Would recommend for price and piece and quiet. 

Very nice floating guest house on the river. It is very quiet in a nature surrounding but very close to the bus station and the rest of kanchanaburi. Very cheap as well, but clean and very friendly staff.

Cheap, comfortable, clean and what a view

First, the guest house is situated a while away from the backpackers center. 
In addition it is in the middle of many discos and a peacefull night is not guaranteed. 
In the low cost rooms: no plugs for charging any electronical device which means that you have to leave your charging phone in the common area (safe?). In addition, the bathroom and toilet is located at the opposite of the float from the room that haven't any. 
The common area smells like wet dogs which is not very pleasant.
However the vieuw is very romantic and the personal is very kind.
